Ted Ginn caught 1-of-3 targets for eight yards in Arizona's Week 3 win over the 49ers, adding a four-yard rush and 10-yard pass.

Sep 21 - 8:19 PM

Derek Carrier caught 1-of-2 targets for 23 yards in San Francisco's Week 3 loss to the Cardinals.

Carrier's catch came on the 49ers' opening drive. He drew his only other target in the third quarter. Carrier seemed poised to have a nice day against a Cardinals' defense that can't defend tight ends, but Stevie Johnson picked up the bulk of Vernon Davis' lost looks instead. If you added Carrier in a non-daily league, he can be safely dropped.
Sep 21 - 8:18 PM

Stepfan Taylor rushed once for two yards in Arizona's Week 3 win over the 49ers.

Taylor's carry came in the first quarter, and he wasn't heard from thereafter. It was hard to tell if Taylor was truly behind Jalen Parmele on the depth chart, as Parmele received only one touch, as well. Andre Ellington got the rock 21 times. Taylor has zero fantasy value.
Sep 21 - 8:15 PM

Russell Wilson completed 24-of-34 passes for 258 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's Week 3 overtime win over the Broncos.

Sep 21 - 8:14 PM

Jalen Parmele was held without a gain on his lone carry in Arizona's Week 3 win over the 49ers.

Called on to convert a first quarter 3rd-and-1, Parmele got easily stuffed. He wasn't heard from again as Andre Ellington racked up 21 touches. Stepfan Taylor also finished with one carry. Parmele is going to end up scoring a few touchdowns as the Cardinals' apparent short-yardage back, but he's the definition of a desperation fantasy option. You need to do better.
Sep 21 - 8:12 PM

Emmanuel Sanders caught 11 passes for 149 yards in Sunday's Week 3 loss at Seattle.

Wes Welker returned from suspension, but Sanders still racked up 15 targets as the featured player in this offense. He repeatedly got open against the vaunted Legion of Boom, separating in man coverage and finding holes in zones. Sanders' target count is bound to take a hit as Demaryius Thomas picks it up and Welker gets more involved, but the ex-Steeler is here to stay as a WR2. He's earned the trust of Peyton Manning.
Sep 21 - 8:10 PM

Stevie Johnson caught 9-of-9 targets for 103 yards in San Francisco's Week 3 loss to the Cardinals.

Vernon Davis' lost targets went to Johnson instead of fill-in TE Derek Carrier. Johnson got open at will as he more than doubled his 2014 catch and yardage totals, and looked like a player who still has plenty left in the tank. His angular route running hasn't lost its effectiveness. That being said, the volume just isn't going to be there for Johnson when Davis, Michael Crabtree and Anquan Boldin are all healthy. Johnson is not a high-upside WR4 stash in 12-team leagues.
Sep 21 - 8:08 PM

Donnie Avery managed two catches for 12 yards on three targets in the Chiefs' Week 3 win over the Dolphins.

It was refreshing to see Avery's role reduced in this one after he absurdly racked up a team-high 19 targets in Kansas City's first two games. Avery is an unattractive WR4/5 in fantasy leagues. The Chiefs face the Patriots next.
