After speaking to "a few NFL folks," ESPN's Jeremy Fowler believes free agent Matt Forte will be "lucky" to command more than $4 million per year on the open market.

"The life of a 30-year-old back," added Fowler. On February 5, Forte told NFL Network's Lindsay Rhodes that "it ain't about the money ... I'm trying to get a Super Bowl." Forte's market shouldn't become overly pricey, and it sounds like he's satisfied with that. Forte is Rotoworld's No. 2 free agent running back, behind Doug Martin and just ahead of Lamar Miller.

Seahawks signed WR Jeff Fuller to a reserve/future contract.

A 2013 UDFA, Fuller spent the last three seasons in the CFL. He adds offseason depth. Seattle also signed CFL RB Cameron Marshall.

ESPN’s Mike DiRocco expects Jacksonville to re-sign free agent Chad Henne.

The Jaguars don’t need Henne, but have the cap room to keep him as a veteran backup. Henne could return on a two-year deal in the $6 million range.

Coach Gus Bradley wants to re-sign free agent TE Marcedes Lewis.

Lewis was reduced to a blocking role last year, failing to score a touchdown for the first time since 2011. The Jaguars want to keep him as their No. 2 tight end behind injury-prone starter Julius Thomas. Lewis shouldn’t require much more than the $2.65 million salary he made in 2015.

Free agent Reggie Bush (knee) expects to resume running in two weeks.

30-year-old Bush plans to return for at least one more season. He’s recovering from a torn meniscus, but should be ready for training camp. Bush won’t draw interest as more than a third-down back.

Fox Sports 910 Phoenix's Mike Jurecki expects David Johnson to serve as the Cardinals' "bellcow" back in 2016.

Andre Ellington will return as a lightly used change of pace. Johnson showed bellcow-back ability down the stretch of his rookie season, successfully handling touch totals of 24, 24, 33, 12, 14, 21, and 24 in Arizona's final seven games, including the playoffs. Johnson should be one of the top-five running backs off the board in 2016 fantasy drafts.

According to ESPN's Adam Caplan, the Raiders will be "looking to add another running back" this offseason.

Although Latavius Murray's final rushing stats (266-1,066-6) look solid on paper, Murray mixed in long bouts of ineffectiveness and also seemed to fall into coach Jack Del Rio's doghouse a few times. Caplan suggests the Raiders could make a run at free agent Matt Forte, who would almost certainly take over for Murray as Oakland's starter. The Raiders are flush with cap space and could easily beat out most teams if Forte is looking to break the bank. The Raiders were major players in the 2015 DeMarco Murray "sweepstakes."

The final three years of Anquan Boldin's contract voided.

He’s now a free agent. The move leaves the 49ers with $2.7M in dead money. Boldin managed a 69/789/5 line despite playing through injuries and a combination of Colin Kaepernick/Blaine Gabbert. He’ll be one of top wideouts available despite entering his age-36 season.
