Hanley Ramirez (hand) went 1-for-4 with a run scored Sunday as the Red Sox defeated the Angels.

Hanley had to be removed from Friday's loss to the Angels after taking a pitch off his left hand, but he went 2-for-4 in Saturday's win and also played a role Sunday. The 31-year-old left fielder is hitting .263/.313/.480 with 10 home runs, 22 RBI, and 24 runs scored through his first 40 games with Boston.
May 25 - 8:45 AM

Josh Fields (knee) tossed a scoreless inning in the Astros' win over the Tigers on Sunday.

Fields struck out two of the four batters he faced. He was shut down for a bit after taking a comebacker off the outside of his right knee last Thursday. It was no big deal. Fields, 29, boasts a 0.87 ERA and 18/3 K/BB ratio in 10 1/3 innings this season for Houston.
May 25 - 8:41 AM

Mike Moustakas (clavicle) went 1-for-4 in his return to the Royals' lineup Sunday.

Moustakas made an early exit from Saturday's game after taking a bad hop off his collarbone at third base. He only suffered a bruise. The 26-year-old budding star is batting .333/.385/.491 in 40 games this season.
May 25 - 8:37 AM

Brian McCann was removed from Sunday's game against the Rangers in the ninth inning with a cramp in his foot/calf.

Yankees manager Joe Girardi admitted that he was a little concerned about the injury and that the team would know more about it on Monday. Owners in weekly leagues may want to have another option available should it look like the veteran backstop may miss a few games.
May 24 - 11:42 PM

Prince Fielder had another nice night at the dish in Sunday's victory over the Yankees, going 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI.

He is absolutely killing it at the plate lately, raising his slash line to .358/.412/.551 with Sunday's three-hit attack. Fielder now has 32 RBI to go along with his eight home runs.
May 24 - 11:39 PM

Adam Rosales blasted a two-run homer on Sunday, powering the Rangers to a 5-2 victory over the Yankees in New York.

It was the second straight start that Rosales has made at second base and he made the most of it, going 2-for-3 plus a walk, though he was caught stealing. Though he's hitting just .214/.279/.375 on the season, he could be interesting in AL-only formats if he's indeed seeing the bulk of playing time at second base.
May 24 - 11:36 PM

Shawn Tolleson struck out all three hitters that he faced on Sunday, preserving a three-run lead against the Yankees to earn his third save of the week.

It looks as though he's running away with the closer's job in Texas as Tolleson has converted each of his first three chances with ease. The right-hander now boasts a 3.10 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 29/4 K/BB ratio over 20 1/3 innings on the season. He needs to be scooped up in any mixed leagues where he may still be available.
May 24 - 11:36 PM

Yovani Gallardo fired six innings of two-run ball in Sunday's victory over the Yankees, allowing just four hits and a walk along the way.

Gallardo punched out six on the night. All of the damage against him came in the first inning on a two-out, two-run single by Brian McCann. He was able to settle in nicely afterwards though, keeping his team in the game and allowing the Rangers offense to come from behind. Now 4-6 on the season, he'll head into Friday's start against the Red Sox with a 4.13 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 40/16 K/BB ratio through 56 2/3 innings on the year.
