Jon Lester surrendered three runs in seven innings and was charged with a loss to the Indians on Wednesday.

All three runs came on solo homers -- Brandon Guyer, Francisco Lindor and Edwin Encarnacion all took him deep. Lester allowed four hits total plus two walks while fanning four in the outing. He falls to 2-1 with a 3.29 ERA after five starts. He had allowed just one homer this year prior to today.

Ryan Buchter (undisclosed) exited Wednesday's game against the Rangers with an apparent injury.

Buchter was clearly in pain, as he grimaced immediately after throwing the pitch, and trainers came out to check out the left-hander before he exited the contest. We'll update you with what the what the injury is and the severity of it when we have that information.

Ender Inciarte went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases and two runs scored in a 5-4 win over the Reds on Wednesday.

All three hits were singles, which is normal for the Braves' leadoff hitter -- only two of his 27 hits this year have gone for extra bases and both of those were doubles. His nine stolen bases trail league leader Trea Turner by one. Inciarte has a .276 batting average with eight RBI and 12 runs scored in 22 games.

Ronald Acuna drew the start in left field and snared his first major league hit while making his debut against the Reds on Wednesday.

The game's top prospect went 1-for-5 with a single and two strikeouts in his long-awaited debut. He singled in the eighth inning and scored the tying run as the Braves rallied to a victory. He will probably start nearly every day from here on out and could make a fantasy impact right away if he lives up to the hype.

Matt Wisler let in four runs in five innings and did not factor into the decision against the Reds on Wednesday.

He sailed through the first four frames unscathed before falling apart in the fifth. He served up a two-run bomb to Joey Votto and RBI-doubles to Scott Schebler and Tucker Barnhart in the frame. Wisler allowed nine hits and three walks and did not register a strikeout in the contest. This was just his second game of the season. He surrendered only one run in seven innings in his first start last week against the Mets.

Guillermo Heredia left his game with Triple-A Tacoma with a wrist injury on Wednesday.

Heredia fouled a pitch off of his wrist, and while he finished the at-bat, he exited the game after with trainers. The outfielder was recently controversially sent down to Triple-A Tacoma when Ben Gamel was activated off the disabled list, with many believing Ichiro Suzuki would get the boot, instead. We'll update you if there's any severity to the injury.

Scott Schebler went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in a loss to the Braves on Wednesday.

He drove in Adam Duvall with a double in the fifth inning, then scored on a Tucker Barnhart double. Schebler spent two weeks on the disabled list after getting drilled on the elbow by a pitch. He has been hot since returning to action and is slashing .310/.355/.586 with two homers and five RBI in 31 plate appearances.
Apr 25 - 10:10 PM

Joey Votto went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer during Wednesday's loss to the Braves.

He went yard off starter Matt Wisler in the fifth inning. He also walked in the ballgame. Votto seemingly starts off very slowly every year and this one is no exception. He hit his first homer yesterday and repeated the feat today, so maybe his annual ascent into MVP contention is now underway. He is slashing a quickly-improving .256/.363/.337 with two dingers and 10 RBI.
