Delanie Walker (hamstring, questionable) will be a game-time decision for Week 4 at Houston.
Coach Mike Mularkey said Friday Walker will be put through a pre-game workout to determine whether he's fit to play. The fact that Walker practiced on back-to-back days bodes well, but he was limited in both workouts and the Titans are not committing to playing him. "He's improving," Mularkey insisted.
Panthers LT Michael Oher (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 4 against the Falcons.
Oher was added to the injury report on Friday, suggesting he was either concussed in practice or reported symptoms to the team on Friday. Look for RT Mike Remmers to go to left tackle and Darryl Williams at right tackle. Luckily for Carolina, the Falcons have one of the least-imposing pass rush units.
A TSA spokesperson from Cleveland International Airport denies a report Josh Gordon was caught with a pound of marijuana when trying to go through airport security on Thursday.
A report of Gordon's detainment originally appeared on Scout.com, but has been refuted. The story has since been deleted by Scout.com. Regardless, Gordon checked himself into a rehab facility on Thursday and the Browns have washed their hands of him. We don't expect Gordon to play football in 2016.
Titans coach Mike Mularkey said Tajae Sharpe (hamstring) had a good week of practice and is "ready to go" for Week 4 against the Texans.
The Titans have been listing him as a limited participant at practice but there was never any doubt about his Week 4 status. With Delanie Walker (hamstring) a game-time decision, Sharpe could be the Titans' featured receiver this week.
Delanie Walker (hamstring, questionable) participated in Titans practice again Friday.
Walker participated in Thursday and Friday's sessions. He missed last Friday's practice and was inactive against the Raiders, so this looks like a step in the right direction. We're tentatively expecting him to start at Houston.
Virgil Green (calf) remained sidelined at Friday's practice.
He's not going to suit up this week. John Phillips will draw another start at tight end Sunday against Tampa Bay. Green is week to week with a strained calf.
Texans TE Stephen Anderson (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 4.
Pass-catching tight end duties will fall to Ryan Griffin against Tennessee.
Eric Decker has a partially torn rotator cuff and has been ruled out for Week 4 against the Seahawks.
Coach Todd Bowles said it's too early to tell if Decker will need surgery. He's considered week to week for now, but there's obviously concern he could miss quite a bit of time. Quincy Enunwa needs to be added in all formats immediately as the No. 2 receiver. Enunwa is a WR3 with upside this week.
