Shane Larkin (sore right knee) didn't practice on Wednesday.

Larkin did some running and cutting, so he's progressing, but it's not a great sign that he still can't practice after the All-Star break. The Celtics haven't provided many details about the injury but coach Brad Stevens expects Larkin to go through portions of Thursday's practice. We're considering him questionable for games on Friday and Saturday.

Coach Kenny Atkinson said he expects to see more lineups with Spencer Dinwiddie and D'Angelo Russell.

" I do like having two guards that can really handle the ball," Atkinson said. "Now, you’ve got to look at the other pieces and how they fit. Someone’s got to be out. One of our good wing players has got to be out if they’re going to play." This quote does sound like it's possible Russell gets a starting nod, which could bump Allen Crabbe or DeMarre Carroll. Dinwiddie should be busy regardless.

Rudy Gay (heel) will return on Friday night against the Nuggets.

The Spurs get some good news after coach Gregg Popovich said Kawhi Leonard (quad) could miss the rest of the season. Gay's heel injury has been a problem for him throughout the season and he's been out since Dec. 28. He'll likely have a minutes cap upon his return, but he's worth a look in 12-team leagues.

Coach Gregg Popovich said he'd be surprised if Kawhi Leonard (quad) returned this season.

Not good. It's unclear if Pop means just the regular season or for the playoffs, as well. The Spurs have not been very forthcoming with updates on Leonard, and there's been no talk of him progressing in his rehab. The Spurs will be giving a longer look at Dejounte Murray as a starter and now Kyle Anderson should be starting for the foreseeable future. Leonard's fantasy owners may want to consider dropping him in what has been a lost season.

Coach Frank Vogel said he'll keep the minutes of Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vucevic "at a reasonable number" upon their returns.

It sounds like they both are going to play on Thursday, but Gordon also hinted he may have a minutes limit. "It’s going to take some time getting rhythm back, [getting] the feel back," Gordon said. "The first day, it’s almost like fool’s gold. You get so excited to come back and play that it takes over. It’s that second and third day that everything kind of sets in. You get a little sore." It's great news that Gordon will be back soon, but it may be a few games before he's back to producing must-start value in shallow leagues.

General manager Ryan McDonough said Marquese Chriss needs to show more consistency.

"In some ways, if he's able to show that consistency that that'll help dictate what we do or don't do this summer," McDonough said. Chriss' sophomore season has been a bit of a nightmare and it's led to him losing playing time. The inconsistency makes him tough to own in shallower leagues.

Coach Gregg Popovich said the Spurs "need to find exactly what we have" with Dejounte Murray.

"It’s time," Pop said. Well, that should mean Murray is going to be starting for the foreseeable future. Murray has started every game he's been active since Jan. 21, averaging 10.5 points, 7.5 boards, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.6 blocks on 48.6 percent from the fielding 73.3 percent from the line over those 25.8 minutes per game. Expect him to be busy to finish this season.

Ersan Ilyasova is expected to remain the starting power forward.

The Hawks did sit Ilyasova, Dennis Schroder and Kent Bazemore last week, but coach Mike Budenholzer said he expects to stay the course with his rotation. "I think we’ve been a mix of young and veteran guys all year," he said Wednesday. "I think the way we progressed through the season — of course when you start the season you think it could be a little different —[but] right now but I think the way we’ve played, and the way we continue to play, won’t be that much different." Ilyasova's minutes will likely be inconsistent, so he may be tough to hold in shallower fantasy leagues.
