Saints WR Brandon Coleman caught four balls for 82 yards in New Orleans' preseason finale against the Packers.

It was refreshing to see Coleman make some plays after he went the Saints' first three exhibition games with just one catch. With Luke McCown starting Thursday night's game, Coleman got loose for a 45-yard reception on New Orleans' opening drive, setting up Willie Snead's seven-yard score. Coleman is expected to open the year as one of Drew Brees' top-three wide receivers.

The Denver Broncos secondary will be missing it's starting strong safety in Week 1 after T.J. Ward received a one-game suspension.

The suspension, for violating the league's personal-conduct policy, was handed down on Thursday and will leave the Denver secondary shorthanded as they host the Baltimore Ravens to start the 2015 season. David Bruton or Omar Bolden will likely fill-in at SS for the Denver D/ST group that will be near the low-end of startable Week 1 fantasy options.

Marcus Mariota completed 2-of-3 passes for 74 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's preseason finale.

Mariota capped off his one and only drive by throwing a 59-yard touchdown to Harry Douglas. The No. 2 overall pick puts a bow on his preseason having completed 21-of-30 passes for 326 yards (10.86 YPA), one touchdown and one interception. He's passed the "eye test" in the process. Mariota is a QB2 with the upside for more.

Benny Cunningham was held out of the Rams' preseason finale.

He was a healthy scratch. With Todd Gurley (ACL) not ready and Tre Mason (hamstring) in doubt for Week 1, there is a chance Cunningham will be the Rams' starter versus Seattle. The team's decision to hold Cunningham out of this game may suggest they are aware he could have a big Opening Day role.

Bucs signed CB Tim Jennings.

GM Jason Licht announced the deal during the team's fourth preseason game. A veteran corner who has a history with both coach Lovie Smith and DC Leslie Frazier, this signing made too much sense not to happen. Licht hinted Jennings could replace Sterling Moore in the slot.

The Pittsburgh Steelers D/ST will now face much more difficult opposition at the quarterback position in Week 1 after Tom Brady's four-game suspension was nullified.

The Pittsburgh D/ST unit isn't a great season-long option anyhow, but fantasy owners looking to snag the Steelers defense in anticipation of feasting on a Jimmy Garoppolo start will have to look elsewhere. NFL opening night in Foxboro is not a friendly place to start the opposing fantasy defense.

Jay Ajayi exited the Dolphins' preseason finale with a chest injury.

He finished with nine carries for 66 yards and two receptions for 37 yards, including a 26-yarder. A forgotten man in Miami, Ajayi rotated with Mike Gillislee in this one and ran hard with the burst he showed at Boise State. Ajayi got off to a painfully slow start in training camp -- struggling in pass protection and battling a hamstring injury -- but if healthy should open the season on the 53-man roster, ideally ahead of LaMichael James and behind Lamar Miller and Damien Williams.

Buck Allen managed ten yards on six carries in the Ravens' preseason finale.

He'll finish the preseason with 35 carries for 88 yards (2.51 YPC). Allen also landed in coach John Harbaugh's doghouse following the third preseason game for fumbling in the end zone. Allen may open the season as Baltimore's No. 2 back, but only by default due to Lorenzo Taliaferro's MCL injury.
