Cardinals signed LS Aaron Brewer.

Incumbent LS Kam Canaday was cut after a bad snap in the Week 3 loss, leading to a Bills touchdown. Brewer has 64 games of experience.

The Panthers have been experimenting with rookie LCB James Bradberry in shadow coverage.

Bradberry followed Demaryius Thomas in Week 1 and Stefon Diggs in Week 3. It wasn't necessary in Week 2 against the 49ers. "Whatever the coaching staff asks me to do, I am willing to do it," Bradberry said. "I just do whatever they tell me." The No. 62 overall pick of the draft, Bradberry had a tough Week 1 but has steadied since. He's unsure if he'll follow Julio Jones in Week 4.

Bears signed DT C.J. Wilson.

Wilson appeared in 12 games between the Raiders and Lions last season. He'll provide veteran depth for a defensive line that's been hit hard by injury.

The Steelers are happy with Le'Veon Bell's conditioning coming off suspension.

"A guy that is highly conditioned over a 12 month calendar," coach Mike Tomlin said. "We have seen him every day, he has been a part of us, and he has been in the building. He is up to speed on what we are doing from a schematic standpoint and really in tune there." It's further indication the Steelers will have no qualms immediately employing Bell as a bell-cow. Bell is already a top-three option at running back.

Cowboys DE Charles Tapper (broken back) has suffered a setback, and remains out indefinitely.

The Cowboys have only four sacks through three games, and need Tapper's depth. Injured reserve is becoming a possibility for the fourth-round rookie.

Spencer Ware played 71 percent of the Chiefs' snaps in Week 3, compared to 22 percent for Charcandrick West.

That's compared to 54 percent for Ware and 39 percent for West in Week 2. Ware is distancing himself from his committee partner, and should be in for another big workload against the Steelers on Sunday night. Jamaal Charles seems to be at least another week away.

NFL.com's Mike Garofolo reports Sammy Watkins will test out his injured foot on Wednesday or Thursday, and that it will determine his Week 4 availability.

Per Garofolo, "there are no structural issues" with Watkins' foot, and it remains "an issue of pain tolerance." Watkins tried to play through the injury on short rest in Week 2, but had a sub-par night against the Jets' leaky secondary. It sounds like Watkins will probably be listed as "DNP" on Wednesday. Even a limited session Thursday would have him tentatively on track to return against the Patriots.

Panthers placed DE Ryan Delaire on injured reserve with a knee injury, ending his season.

A second-year UDFA, Delaire notched 2.5 sacks as a rookie, but spent the offseason recovering from shoulder surgery. His 2017 53-man roster odds won't be good.
