Paul Goldschmidt went 2-for-4 with a walk, a two-run single, and two stolen bases as the Diamondbacks pounded their way to a win over the Dodgers on Monday.

Goldschmidt is now on a 10-game hitting streak, extended with a single in the sixth inning just ahead of a Yasmany Tomas home run. Goldy then ripped a two-run single in the eighth to cap off a four-run frame. He's having a bonkers year, carrying a .352/.467/.637 triple-slash line with 20 home runs, 64 RBI, 15 stolen bases, 55 runs scored, and 60 walks.

Huston Street slammed the door on the Yankees in the ninth inning for his 22nd save as the Angels completed a 4-1 victory on Monday.

Street got Garrett Jones and Brian McCann to fly out for two quick outs, but Didi Gregorius singled to keep hope alive. The ever-dangerous Brett Gardner hit a fly out to end the game. Street is 22-for-25 picking up saves this year with a 2.20 ERA and a 33/9 K/BB ratio in 32 2/3 innings.

C.J. Wilson limited the Yankees to one run in six innings to pick up the win on Monday.

Wilson scattered five hits and a three walks while striking out five. A lot of credit has to go to center fielder Mike Trout, though, as he made a handful of outstanding catches to save Wilson's hide. The lefty lowered his ERA to 3.78 with the effort and has a 1.19 WHIP with an 89/32 K/BB ratio over 102 1/3 innings. He'll face the Rangers in Texas next.
Jun 30 - 1:11 AM

CC Sabathia yielded four runs in 7 1/3 innings in a losing effort against the Angels on Monday.

It was a reasonably solid effort, but the Yankees weren't able to back him with nearly enough run support. Sabathia gave up six hits and a walk while striking out five. Two of the runs came on solo home runs. The lefty holds a disappointing 5.59 ERA with a 1.40 WHIP and an 83/18 K/BB ratio in 95 innings. He'll look to rebound in a home start against the Rays next.
Jun 30 - 1:09 AM

Brett Gardner went 3-for-5 with two doubles, but the Yankees couldn't capitalize in Monday's loss to the Angels.

Gardner, leading off, wasn't able to be brought home by the Yankees' #2, 3, and 4 hitters, who combined to go 1-for-9. He's on a seven-game hitting streak now and has logged multiple hits in eight of his last 11 games. Gardner is having a monster season with a .305/.377/.502 batting line with nine home runs, 39 RBI, 58 runs scored, and 15 stolen bases.

C.J. Cron went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, helping the Angels edge the Yankees on Monday.

Cron, recently recalled from Triple-A, drilled his second big league home run of the season in the seventh inning off of CC Sabathia to pad the Angels' lead to 4-1. He hasn't hit much in the majors this season, but has crushed Triple-A competition in two short stints.
Jun 30 - 1:04 AM

Mike Trout did it all to help the Angels beat the Yankees on Monday, homering, stealing a base, and playing stellar defense.

Trout broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the third inning with a solo home run off of CC Sabathia. He also stole his first base since May 22, though it didn't lead to a run. On the defensive side of things, he made a handful of terrific catches in support of starter C.J. Wilson. Trout, likely to start in center field for the AL All-Star team, is batting .300/.390/.583 with 20 home runs, 43 RBI, and nine stolen bases.
Jun 30 - 1:02 AM

Kendall Graveman silenced the Rockies with seven shutout innings, helping the Athletics to a 7-1 win on Monday.

Graveman scattered five hits and three walks while striking out three. All five hits were singles. The right-hander has been terrific since returning from the minor leagues in late May. Over his last eight starts, Graveman has a 20.1 ERA in 53 2/3 innings. He'll look to keep it going over the weekend with a home start against the Mariners.
