Bernard Pierce was added to the Ravens' injury report on Thursday, getting in a limited session with a thigh injury.

Mid-week additions to the injury report are never good news, but we haven't come across any real reason to be concerned about Pierce's Week 3 status. We still expect him to lead the Ravens' committee against the Browns, with Justin Forsett mixing in frequently as a change-of-pace back. Pierce is a borderline RB2.
Sep 18 - 4:07 PM

Kelvin Benjamin (knee) returned to Panthers practice Thursday, getting in a full session.

The Panthers were just giving Benjamin a breather on Wednesday. He'll be good to go as a high-end WR3 against the Steelers.
Sep 18 - 4:02 PM

DeAngelo Williams (thigh) remained out of Panthers practice Thursday, but did a "lot of work on the side."

Speaking after practice, coach Ron Rivera said he's "not that concerned" about D-Will's status, indicating he'll be a go for Sunday night's game against the Panthers. Rivera's tune might change if Williams can't practice on Friday, but for now he's on track to suit up for Week 3.
Sep 18 - 3:58 PM

Clay Harbor (calf) returned to Jaguars practice Thursday, getting in a limited session.

It was Harbor's first practice since going down early in training camp. The Jags need Harbor to get healthy with Marcedes Lewis (ankle) out 6-8 weeks, but it's hard to envision him suiting up for Week 3. That would leave Mickey Shuler as the starter against Indy.
Sep 18 - 3:54 PM

Toby Gerhart (ankle) returned to Jaguars practice Thursday, getting in a limited session.

Wednesday was just a day of rest for the Jags' lead back, who is fully expected to suit up against the Colts' leaky run defense. Although we like the matchup, it's hard to trust Gerhart as an RB2 since he's managed just 50 yards on his first 25 carries behind the Jags' porous offensive line.
Sep 18 - 3:48 PM

Zach Ertz is on the Week 3 injury report with a knee issue, but practicing in full.

It's not a concern for Ertz's Week 3 status, where he's shaping up as a top-five option thanks to injuries to Vernon Davis and Jordan Cameron. Ertz has played 67 percent of the Eagles' snaps through his first two games, and could see his role grown even more.
Sep 18 - 3:45 PM

Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (ankle) remained sidelined Thursday.

Speaking after practice, coach Gus Bradley said Hurns "needs to progress Friday to play Sunday." We wouldn't hold our breath. Owners need to be making other plans for their WR4.
Sep 18 - 3:42 PM

Cecil Shorts (hamstring) remained limited on Thursday.

Per coach Gus Bradley, Shorts "continues to look good." It sounds like he'll be active for Sunday's game against the Colts, but fantasy owners can't be comfortable with Shorts' recent injury history. He'll be a WR5 at risk of going down.
