Chris Johnson exited Week 12 against the 49ers with a left knee injury.
Johnson took a helmet to the knee on a goal-line carry in the third quarter. He was examined on the sideline for quite some time before limping into the locker room. Johnson is officially questionable to return. Andre Ellington would handle the lead role with Johnson out, but he is headed to the locker room with a foot issue.
Malcom Floyd caught 1-of-4 targets for 12 yards in the Chargers' Week 12 win over the Jaguars.
Making his return from a torn labrum in his shoulder suffered in Week 9, Floyd was a small part of the offense. It's a very painful injury, and Floyd is sporting a brace on his shoulder. Stevie Johnson and Dontrelle Inman both out-targeted Floyd by a healthy margin as they saw 10 and nine targets, respectively. Floyd will be a boom-or-bust WR4 down the stretch.
Cardinals CB Jerraud Powers exited Week 12 against the 49ers with a calf injury.
Powers had to ride the cart to the locker room and is doubtful to return. Justin Bethel replaced him in the lineup.
Falcons coach Dan Quinn said after Sunday's loss to Minnesota that he expects Devonta Freeman (concussion) back "fully" for Week 13.
Quinn did acknowledge that this expectation is assuming Freeman suffers no setbacks. Freeman worked out with the rest of Atlanta's inactive players before Sunday's game, while spot starter Tevin Coleman lost a fumble and dropped two passes against the Vikings. Freeman should return to his every-down, workhorse role when the Falcons take on the Buccaneers in Week 13.
Antonio Gates caught 4-of-6 targets for 53 yards and two touchdowns in the Chargers' Week 12 win over the Jaguars.
Playing through hip and knee injuries, Gates clearly is less than 100 percent. But he remains a huge part of the offense in the red zone and showed it with a pair of nine- and 12-yard touchdown catches in the second quarter. His first score came on an inside slant down the seam, and the second was on a corner route where Gates beat coverage-deficient SS Johnathan Cyprien with ease. Gates will be a locked-in TE1 next week in a tough date with the Broncos.
Mychal Rivera caught 2-of-2 targets for 28 yards in Oakland's Week 12 win over the Titans.
Still splitting reps with Clive Walford, Rivera isn't' a realistic TE2.
Clive Walford caught 1-of-2 targets for 14 yards in Oakland's Week 12 win over the Titans.
Splitting reps with Mychal Rivera, Walford will make a big play or two down the stretch, but not enough to put him on the fantasy radar.
Harry Douglas caught 3-of-8 targets for 29 yards and a touchdown in Tennessee's Week 12 loss to the Raiders.
It was yet another remarkably inefficient day, though Douglas' touchdown grab came against tight coverage. He also drew DPI in the end zone. Douglas will be in the WR5/6 range against the Jaguars in Week 13.
