Jose Molina (hamstring) is available on Monday and is expected to return to the starting lineup Tuesday.

Molina sat out Sunday and is not in Monday's batting order against the Blue Jays due to some left hamstring tightness. It's not a serious concern for the Rays.

Mark Teixeira (wrist) went 1-for-2 with a walk Monday in his first extended spring training game.

Teixeira reported feeling "good" on his personal Twitter feed afterward. The first baseman is currently aiming to be activated from the disabled list by May 31, but the Yankees are at the top of the American League East standings and could decide to play it safe by letting his minor league rehab assignment linger into early June. Teixeira is on his way back from a torn tendon sheath.

Diamondbacks released INF Mark Teahen.

Teahen asked for and was granted his release. The veteran infielder hit .211/.318/.254 with 22 strikeouts in 22 games at Triple-A Reno but should be able to latch on with a new team. The Reds tried to trade for him at the end of April, but Teahen did not pass his physical.

Sam Fuld - OF - Rays

Sam Fuld is in the Rays' starting lineup on Monday afternoon against the Blue Jays.

Fuld has played only 11 complete games this year and is hitting just .190/.288/.224 in 67 plate appearances. He will start in left field and bat seventh versus Toronto.

Trevor Rosenthal has not allowed a run since April 24.

Rosenthal had a rough first month but is back to his dominating ways here in May. The hard-throwing 22-year-old right-hander boasts a 2.42 ERA and 32/6 K/BB ratio in 22 1/3 innings this season and should continue to be a solid source of holds all year. He has been the most heavily-used reliever in the major leagues thus far.

Danny Hultzen (shoulder) has begun playing catch.

Hultzen was shut down in late April with a left rotator cuff strain and general shoulder tendinitis. The Mariners are expected to take it very slowly with their prized pitching prospect. He had a cool 2.78 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 25/6 K/BB ratio through his first 22 2/3 innings (four starts) this season at Triple-A Tacoma and could reach the major leagues later this summer if he can get healthy.

Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said Monday that Anthony Gose will not be an everyday player.

The talented 22-year-old outfielder was promoted from Triple-A Buffalo on Monday morning but isn't likely to hold much value in standard mixed fantasy leagues. Gibbons said Gose will "help out on defense" and as a pinch-runner. He will not make very many starts.

Rays optioned LHP Jeff Beliveau to Triple-A Durham.

Beliveau was up in the majors for only two days and did not make an appearance in a game. The 26-year-old left-hander was sporting a 4.35 ERA in 10 appearances at the Triple-A level at the time of his promotion.
