Redskins S Su'a Cravens (concussion, exempt/left squad list) has been medically cleared to return to football.

In a confusing couple weeks, Cravens flirted with retirement in September before ultimately stepping away from the team for the season. His agent says he was suffering from post-concussion syndrome during the episode, but he has undergone treatment and is "looking forward to the 2018 NFL season." A second-round pick in 2016, Cravens has a long and scary history with concussions.

ESPN's Alden Gonzalez reports Rams LT Andrew Whitworth (ankle, knee) is not expected to miss any time.

Whitworth was in and out of the lineup against the Eagles after being rolled up in the first quarter, but coach Sean McVay said he "check out good" on Monday. RT Rob Havenstein (ankle) is also expected to be fine. It is great news with a pivotal divisional matchup against the Seahawks next up on the schedule.

Rams OLB Connor Barwin (forearm) is "on track" to play Week 15 against the Seahawks.

Barwin has been sidelined the last two games because of a fracture in his forearm, but he was never expected to miss extended time. Rookie Samson Ebukam has shown well in his place, but Barwin returning is a boost for the defense.

Rams coach Sean McVay said Robert Woods is "on track" to play Week 15 against the Seahawks.

The coach added the obligatory barring "any setbacks" qualifier, but Week 15 has been the target for Woods all along. While it is always wise to exercise caution with players returning from injury, Woods had established himself as a must-start option before going down. That will remain the case against Seattle.

Giants RT Justin Pugh will visit Dr. Robert Watkins this week to get a second opinion on his injured back.

Pugh looked close to a return a couple weeks ago, but he apparently suffered a setback. The Giants reportedly do not think he needs surgery, but Dr. Watkins could have a different opinion. This is not the way Pugh wanted to end his contract year.

Giants interim coach Steve Spagnuolo said he "was disappointed" by CB Eli Apple tweeting during the Week 14 loss to the Cowboys.

Apple was inactive for the fourth-straight game. He responded to a tweet asking why he was not playing with, "I'm too healthy," and retweeted a message praising Cowboys RB Rod Smith's 81-yard touchdown. "I had a conversation with Eli about that," Spagnuolo said. "I told him I was disappointed. We'll decide exactly what we do with it. He apologized. We move on from that." ESPN's Jordan Raanan has reported Apple is "disliked within the organization," and this incident is unlikely to help. It is possible the Giants look to move on during the offseason.

ESPN's John Keim reports Redskins ILB Zach Brown (foot) is not dealing with a season-ending injury.

Brown left the Week 14 loss to the Chargers with a foot injury which had him on crutches and in a boot after the game. Keim reports Brown "might miss a week," but it does not sound like he is headed to injured reserve. Martrell Spaight will play a bigger role if Brown is forced to miss time.
