Joe Flacco completed 8-of-13 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' third preseason game.
Most of Flacco's damage came on a 63-yard bomb to Steve Smith on the first drive of the game. He should have had another touchdown when Crockett Gilmore rumbled into the end zone, but the play was called back on a penalty. Flacco has 193 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions through three preseason games. He is a streaming QB2.
Duke Johnson suffered a concussion in the Browns' third preseason game Saturday night.
Johnson was seeing his first action of the preseason after sitting out the first two exhibitions with a pulled hamstring. He didn't last long, however, as Johnson took a thundering hit in the first quarter. Johnson had a real chance to earn a significant role, but has been unable to stay on the field. With so much uncertainty, the Browns' backfield is a situation to avoid before the late rounds of drafts.
Julio Jones didn't play in the Falcons' third preseason game Saturday.
Jones signed a five-year, $71.25 million extension earlier in the day and got the night off. Matt Ryan was left with Leonard Hankerson and Devin Hester behind a shoddy offensive line. Ready for the regular season, Jones caught four passes for 61 yards and a score this preseason. He's in the overall WR1 convo.
Lamar Miller rushed for 22 yards on six carries in Saturday's third preseason game.
He also caught all five of his targets for another 31 yards. Through three preseason games, Miller has rushed for 59 yards on 12 carries (4.91 YPC) and reeled in seven passes for 69 yards. With Ryan Tannehill loving to check down and work the short-to-intermediate parts of the field, Miller will get his fair share of targets. Currently being drafted as RB12, we like Miller in standard and PPR formats.
Redskins SS Duke Ihenacho exited the team's third preseason game with a right arm injury.
He is questionable to return. Ihenacho injured his arm making a stop on a running play in the second quarter. Jeron Johnson replaced Ihenacho at strong safety.
Matt Ryan completed 3-of-7 passes for 47 yards in the Falcons' third preseason game Saturday night.
Ryan completed as many passes as he took sacks and was also without Julio Jones, who took the night off after signing his mega-extension earlier Saturday afternoon. The Falcons' offensive line is still working itself out. Ryan played just a couple series and should be ready for the season opener. Through three preseason games, Ryan has completed 13-of-18 passes for 208 yards and two scores. Ryan is currently being drafted as QB7.
Redskins WR Pierre Garcon played just one series in the team's third preseason game.
Garcon saw just one target on the night. With Garcon unlikely to play in the final preseason game, he will finish the exhibition season with one catch for four yards. Despite the slow preseason, Garcon is a good bet to lead the Redskins in targets. He is an interesting pick in the double-digit rounds.
Ryan Tannehill completed 15-of-19 passes for 145 yards and one touchdown in Saturday's third preseason game.
It was about as perfect as Tannehill and the Dolphins could have hoped for in the regular-season dress rehearsal. He and Jarvis Landry hooked up five times for 84 yards on six targets, including a long 46-yard gain over the middle where Landry chewed up plenty of YAC. Tannehill found Rishard Matthews for his lone score, hooking up on a quick pass from two yards out. After three preseason games, Tannehill is 33-of-41 (80.4 percent) for 303 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions. He's looking like a strong back-end QB1 with upside.
