The Kings are set to waive Matt Barnes with the DeMarcus Cousins trade becoming finalized on Monday.

The Kings just don't have room on their roster after bringing in Tyreke Evans, Langston Galloway and Buddy Hield, so Barnes is the odd man out here. He shouldn't have any trouble finding a contract with a contender, but Barnes is unlikely to land in a situation where he'll provide much fantasy value.

Josh Richardson (foot) said he's "excited" to get back to the court and "make an impact" for his team after the All-Star break.

"I feel like I can get a lot of growth done still. There’s still a lot of time left," said Richardson. "I think I’ve grown a lot, but I’d like to do a lot more on the court." The Heat will resume practice on Wednesday, but all indications are that Richardson will be in uniform for Miami's first game after the break, Friday vs. Atlanta. Rodney McGruder figures to return to the bench once Richardson is fully up to speed, and guys like Dion Waiters and Tyler Johnson could be losing some touches on offense. Richardson makes sense as a speculative add if you've got someone to cut.

The Mavs reportedly still believe that they can compete for the No. 8 spot out West, and they are not looking to have a "fire sale" on their veterans on deadline day.

This doesn't mean that Deron Williams, Wesley Matthews and Andrew Bogut are guaranteed to be wearing Mavericks jerseys after the deadline, but it doesn't seem like Dallas is in any rush to expedite their rebuild. They're currently only three games out of the eighth seed, and with this potentially being Dirk's final season, Mark Cuban probably isn't super eager to start tanking for Ping Pong balls. It'll be interesting to see if the Mavs make any deadline day moves.

The Kings are expected to waive Matt Barnes according to Marc Stein of ESPN.

The Kings are bringing in three players in Tyreke Evans, Langston Galloway and Buddy Hield, so they have to cut one player to make the necessary roster room. With Omri Casspi now in New Orleans and Arron Afflalo and Ben McLemore on the trade block, this would leave the Kings very thin on the wings. Buddy Hield should be busy right away. As for Barnes, he should have no problem finding another team if he's waived.

According to ESPN's Chris Haynes, the Rockets are another team to keep an eye on in pursuit of Wilson Chandler.

In case you missed it, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reported on Sunday that the Clippers and Thunder are going to make a push for Chandler at the deadline. There were some rumors going around in early February that Chandler was unhappy with his role in Denver, so he could be available for the right price. A move to Houston wouldn't be ideal for Chandler's fantasy value because they are set at SF and PF with Trevor Ariza and Ryan Anderson, but it would give them a solid second unit that already includes Eric Gordon and Sam Dekker. This report is firmly in the rumor stage.

Willie Cauley-Stein is looking at a bump in minutes in Sacramento.

DeMarcus Cousins and his 34.4 minutes per game are gone and the Kings didn't bring back a center in their deal with New Orleans, so WCS is a candidate for a much larger role. Coach Dave Joerger has been hesitant to use the second-year center for most of the season, but now he doesn't really have a choice. WCS has per-36 minute averages of 16.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.3 blocks, so feel free to take a flier on him if you need a big. Just keep in mind that he's a career 63.3 percent shooter from the line.

Tim Frazier is likely looking at a bump in minutes in New Orleans.

With Tyreke Evans and Langston Galloway out of the picture, Frazier becomes the primary backup behind Jrue Holiday and could also see more time in two-PG lineups -- Frazier has logged over 200 minutes next to Jrue Holiday this season. If you need a PG in a deep league, taking a flier on Frazier makes some sense given how thin the Pelicans are in their backcourt. He has season averages of 8.7 points, 5.7 assists, 2.9 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 0.7 triples in 25.1 minutes per game.

The Raptors are reportedly in the market for some help on the wings.

No specific names were mentioned, but the Raptors are a little thin on the wings behind DeMar DeRozan, DeMarre Carroll and Norman Powell after they shipped Terrence Ross to Orlando. The Raptors have been using more two-PG lineups recently with Delon Wright entering the rotation, so this could be more about adding some insurance behind the oft-injured Carroll. There are a lot of small forwards said to be available including Wilson Chandler, Danilo Gallinari and P.J. Tucker, but we'll be following this story closely with the deadline looming.
