Nick Hundley is not in the Rockies' lineup Saturday.

Michael McKenry will catch Eddie Butler and bat seventh against Phillies right-hander Aaron Harang. It's just a day off for Hundley, who should be back in action Sunday.
May 30 - 12:19 PM

Rays activated LHP C.J. Riefenhauser from the 15-day disabled list; optioned him to Triple-A Durham.

Riefenhauser was sidelined for a month with inflammation in his left shoulder. The 25-year-old left-hander has thrown just 6 2/3 career innings in the major leagues.
May 30 - 12:12 PM

David Peralta is not in the Diamondbacks starting lineup on Saturday.

Ender Inciarte will get the start in left field while Mark Trumbo mans right field. The 27-year-old is slashing .258/.328/.483 with five homers and 24 RBI in 44 games on the season. He should be back in there for Sunday's series finale.
May 30 - 11:56 AM

Torii Hunter is not in the Twins starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Blue Jays.

It's just a routine day of rest for the veteran outfielder. Eddie Rosario will start in right field with Eduardo Nunez serving as the club's designated hitter and batting second against opposing right-hander Aaron Sanchez. Look for Hunter to be back in there for Sunday's series finale.
May 30 - 11:21 AM

Robinson Cano (illness) could return to the Mariners lineup on Saturday.

Cano has missed the last two games with what the Mariners now believe is an ear infection. A few days off could be a blessing in disguise for the slumping second baseman who is hitting .251/.295/.332 with just one home run and 13 RBI on the season.
May 30 - 11:17 AM

Odubel Herrera is not in the Phillies starting lineup on Saturday against the Rockies.

Ben Revere is getting the start in center field with Cody Asche and Jeff Francoeur starting in the corners. The 23-year-old is hitting just .243/.280/.347 with one homer and 14 RBI in 173 at-bats on the year, and could concede more playing time to Revere unless he starts turning it up offensively.
May 30 - 11:10 AM

Eddie Butler will start for the Rockies against the Phillies on Saturday afternoon.

Jorge De La Rosa was scratched from his scheduled start with a cut on his left middle finger, so Butler will move up a day to take his place. He owns a 4.60 ERA, 1.88 WHIP and teroublesome 23/27 K/BB ratio over 43 innings on the year.
May 30 - 11:06 AM

Brewers manager Craig Counsell said Saturday that Jonathan Broxton is no longer the team's primary setup man.

This comes on the heels of Broxton allowing a game-changing home run to Nick Ahmed that broke a 4-4 tie in the eighth inning on Friday. Jeremy Jeffress is the primary beneficiary of this switch, as he'll now do most of his work in the eighth inning and would be called upon should anything happen to closer Francisco Rodriguez.
