J.J. Barea went for 17 points and 12 assists over 33 minutes in Saturday's 97-90 loss at Utah.

Barea hit 8-of-17 from the field, while adding 1-of-4 from behind the 3-point line, and he added three rebounds, one steal and just one turnover with a plus-10 rating. The veteran guard is enjoying his best stretch of the season, averaging 16.0 PPG, 10.3 APG, 3.4 RPG, 3.0 3-pointers per game and 1.0 SPG over the past three outings. He has recorded at least one steal in six of the past seven games, too.

Dirk Nowitzki (back) was able to start Saturday's game at Utah and he finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Nowitzki went to the locker room during Friday's game due to a lower back injury and it appeared a certainty that the veteran would sit with the back-to-back situation. However, instead of looking rusty, tired or banged up, he looked rejuvenated, also adding three blocked shots with two assists and just one turnover across 32 minutes, working with no restrictions.
Feb 25 - 12:23 AM

Taj Gibson rolled up 19 points with 10 rebounds over 36 minutes in Saturday's home victory against Chicago.

Gibson stepped up his game against his former team, hitting 7-of-11 from the field while going 5-of-7 from the free-throw line. He also was able to dish out three assists with a steal while adding a plus-13 rating. It's all hands on deck in the Twin Cities with Jimmy Butler (knee) going down with a longer-term injury, so everyone will see their offensive responsibilities increase.
Feb 25 - 12:13 AM

Andrew Wiggins ended up with 23 points over 35 minutes in Saturday's 122-104 victory against the visiting Bulls.

Wiggins picked up the pace, hitting 10-of-18 from the field, including 2-of-6 from behind the 3-point line, as he, Jeff Teague and Karl-Anthony Towns banded together to fill the void left by Jimmy Butler (knee). Wiggins also chipped in with two assists, two rebounds, a steal and a blocked shot. He doesn't do much outside of the scoring categories, but a little help in the other categories was much appreciated.
Feb 25 - 12:08 AM

Jeff Teague posted 25 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, two steals and a blocked shot over 34 minutes in Saturday's 122-104 win against the Bulls.

Teague hasn't been terribly aggressive on offense this season, but he is enjoying his hottest stretch of the season. He joined forces with Andrew Wiggins to try and pick up the offensive slack with Jimmy Butler (knee) on the mend. Teague is averaging 20.0 PPG, 7.0 APG, 4.0 APG and 1.4 SPG over his past contests. Next up will be a favorable matchup Monday in Sacramento, kicking off a three-game work week.

Karl-Anthony Towns ended up with 22 points, 13 rebounds, two assists and a blocked shot in Saturday's 122-104 win against the Bulls.

KAT went 9-of-20 from the field, including 0-of-5 from behind the 3-point line, but that's about all fantasy owners could really complain about. He also finished with a game-high plus-23 rating, and he now has at least one blocked shot in five consecutive outings. Towns is also working on a four-game double-double run.
Feb 24 - 11:53 PM

Damian Lillard hit a game-winning layup to beat the Suns 106-104 on Saturday, scoring 40 points with 10 rebounds, five assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

The Blazers looked very tired in this game coming off a back-to-back set, but Dame was there to save the day. Lillard is at an MVP level right now and was already en fuego before this gem, averaging 31.0 points, 3.6 boards, 6.3 assists, 1.1 steals and 3.1 treys in his previous February games. Dame Dolla was a league-winning player after the break last year and he's looking like he'll be doing it again. Check your watch.
Feb 24 - 11:50 PM

Moe Harkless scored nine points with three assists, one block, one steal and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes against the Suns on Saturday.

He had a very big game on Friday with six steals, but Harkless was right back to his quiet ways today. It's really hard to trust coach Terry Stotts when it comes to players not named Dame Lillard, C.J. McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic.
