Alex Len - F/C - Suns

Alex Len got the start for a resting Tyson Chandler against the Bulls on Friday, scoring four points with seven rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 35 minutes.

He flopped big time with this massive opportunity. There will still be more chances coming for Len with the Suns saying they want to get a long look at him before he becomes a restricted free agent this summer. Alan Williams continues to outplay him, but Len is worth a pickup in standard leagues with Chandler certainly getting more rest going forward.

Gordon Hayward scored 29 points with four assists, three rebounds and one triple in 34 minutes vs. the Bucks on Friday.

He had two nasty dunks in this game including one over Giannis Antetokounmpo (link below). Hayward shot 11-of-17 from the field and 6-of-7 from the line, picking up right where he left off before the All-Star break. He's been a top-25 player in standard leagues over the past month, but he gets a tough matchup with the Wizards on Sunday.
Feb 25 - 12:40 AM

Leandro Barbosa scored eight points with three rebounds, three assists, one block and one 3-pointer in 16 minutes against the Bulls on Friday.

The Suns are going with a youth movement, so Barbosa is likely going to get some nights off. Plus, the Suns will probably want to play Brandon Knight at some point to do something about his bottomed-out trade value. There's no need to add Barbosa anywhere.
Feb 25 - 12:37 AM

T.J. Warren scored 17 points with eight rebounds, two assists and two steals in 38 minutes against the Bulls on Friday.

With P.J. Tucker's defense, rebounding and hustle in Toronto, Warren's runaway is finally clear for takeoff. He still had some defensive goofs in this game, but his only backup is Derrick Jones Jr. right now unless the Suns go with three guards. Warren is worth owning in all standard leagues again.
Feb 25 - 12:35 AM

Tyler Ulis scored six points with two rebounds, four assists and one steal in 13 minutes against the Bulls on Friday.

He was the first guard off the bench and looks like he'll be staying in the rotation. After the game, coach Earl Watson talked about how the second unit took care of the ball and said Ulis did "a great job controlling the second unit." The Suns figure to get a look at Ulis the rest of the way, so he's on the radar in very deep leagues. He could be a difference maker very late in the season if the Suns opt to rest Eric Bledsoe.
Feb 25 - 12:33 AM

Derrick Favors scored 19 points on an efficient 9-of-14 shooting in Friday's 109-95 win over the Bucks.

We were hoping that Favors would look rejuvenated after the break and tonight should be very encouraging for his fantasy owners. He played 26 minutes and added seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks, so hopefully this a sign of good things to come. The Jazz had "light conversations" with teams about Favors at the deadline, so he has a lot to prove to the franchise the rest of the season -- he will hit free agency during the summer of 2018.
Feb 25 - 12:31 AM

Alan Williams scored a career-high 16 points with three rebounds, one assist and one turnover in 15 minutes against the Bulls on Friday.

Coach Earl Watson loved what he saw out of Williams and called his effort "amazing" in the limited minutes. General manager Ryan McDonough said he wants to take a look at Williams before he becomes a restricted free agent, so there should be more games like this one on the horizon. Still, Tyson Chandler probably won't rest in every game, so Big Sauce is only an add in very deep leagues.
Feb 25 - 12:29 AM

Derrick Jones Jr. played a career-high 14 minutes against the Bulls on Friday with six points, two rebounds and two assists.

Based on some comments earlier today, the Suns are apparently going to take a look at Airplane Mode, who had two fantastic dunks for his only field goals. Jones Jr. is not exactly an offensive threat, so leave him on the wire just about everywhere. Although, we love the highlights and the video of his best dunk tonight is in the link below.
