Phillies activated INF Jesmuel Valentin from the paternity leave list.

Valentin became a dad over the weekend and was away for Sunday's game. He'll return to his utility infielder role now that he's back with the team.

Braves optioned RHP Evan Phillips to Triple-A Gwinnett.

The move clears a spot for Mike Foltynewicz's return from the disabled list. Phillips was only up in the majors for one day and didn't make an appearance. He should get another chance soon.
Jun 25 - 3:52 PM

Braves activated RHP Mike Foltynewicz from the 10-day disabled list.

Foltynewicz, out since June 12 with right triceps tightness, will make his return Monday against the Reds. The 26-year-old returns to a brilliant 2.16 ERA and 94/33 K/BB ratio over 79 innings this season. He obviously should be activated immediately in fantasy leagues.
Jun 25 - 3:50 PM

Brandon Kintzler (forearm) is expected to be activated from the disabled list during this week's series against the Rays.

It could even happen on Monday. Kintzler was placed on the disabled list on June 10 with a flexor strain in his right forearm, but he tossed a scoreless inning of relief in a rehab appearance with High-A Potomac on Sunday. Assuming he bounces back alright, his return should be imminent.
Jun 25 - 3:47 PM

Maikel Franco (back) is in Monday's lineup against the Yankees.

Franco left Sunday's game with lower back tightness after slipping on the first base bag, but fortunately it wasn't a major concern. He'll hit seventh against Jonathan Loaisiga.
Jun 25 - 3:40 PM

Jean Segura (forearm) has returned to the Mariners' lineup Monday against the Orioles.

Segura missed four straight games with an infection in his right forearm. He had the infection drained on Friday and was limited over the weekend, but he's feeling closer to normal now.
Jun 25 - 3:38 PM

Mets recalled RHP Tyler Bashlor from Double-A Binghamton.

Bashlor replaces Chris Flexen in New York's bullpen. The 25-year-old was an 11th round pick in 2013 and has compiled a 2.63 ERA and 30/12 K/BB ratio over 24 innings with Double-A Binghamton this season. He'll be making his major league debut when he gets into a game.
Jun 25 - 3:36 PM

Mets optioned RHP Chris Flexen to Triple-A Las Vegas.

Flexen heads down after giving up the go-ahead homer in Sunday's loss to the Dodgers. Tyler Bashlor will take his spot in New York's bullpen.
