Stevie Johnson caught 3-of-6 targets for 28 yards Week 13 against the Seahawks
Johnson's six targets were tied for the team lead with Brandon Lloyd. Both players saw an increased snap load with Michael Crabtree hampered by a rib injury. Johnson would see his role increase if Crabtree is forced to miss any time, but is still not on the fantasy radar.
Vernon Davis caught 2-of-3 targets for 13 yards Week 13 against the Seahawks.
The season of woe continues. The 49ers have suddenly forgotten how to use Davis, and Colin Kaepernick is playing so poorly it would not matter if they were using him perfectly. Davis is not worth starting in any format and is droppable in most leagues.
Brandon Lloyd caught 1-of-6 targets for six yards Week 13 against the Seahawks.
It was an inefficient night for Lloyd, but it was hardly his fault. Kaepernick could not hit the broadside of a barn on Thursday night, missing badly while targeting Lloyd multiple times including on the first interception of the game. The good news is Lloyd saw an expanded role with Michael Crabtree sidelined for a time with a rib injury, and he would appear to be the wide receiver of choice in two-wide sets if Crabtree is forced to miss any time.
Carlos Hyde rushed five times for 19 yards and caught three passes for 38 yards Week 13 against the Seahawks.
Hyde was more effective than Frank Gore in this one, but still only managed 3.8 yards per carry against Seattle's stout run defense. Hyde is averaging eight touches a game over his last three and has found the end zone in two of his last four. He will be a RB4 Week 14 against Oakland.
Frank Gore rushed 10 times for 28 yards and caught one pass for eight yards Week 13 against the Seahawks.
Gore only saw three carries in the second half as the 49ers attempted to come from behind, and he struggled with the Seahawks' physical front all game. The 11 touches were the lowest for Gore since Week 7 against Denver. He will look to get back on track against Oakland Week 14.
Christine Michael rushed three times for 10 yards and caught one pass for 12 yards Week 13 against the 49ers.
The Seahawks turned to Michael to close out the game late in the fourth quarter, but he once again played well behind Robert Turbin when it mattered. He would at best be in a timeshare with Turbin if anything were to happen to Marshawn Lynch.
Robert Turbin caught 2 passes for 47 yards and a touchdown Week 13 against the 49ers.
He added eight yards on four carries on the ground. Turbin snuck out of the backfield unnoticed by the 49ers defense for the touchdown and found room on a screen pass for a 34-yard gain in the second quarter. Despite the decent day, Turbin is nothing more than a handcuff for Marshawn Lynch.
Tony Moeaki caught 1-of-2 targets for 63 yards Week 13 against the 49ers.
The long gain had much more to do with Russell Wilson than Moeaki. Wilson escaped immediate pressure and then eluded several other defenders before finding a wide-open Moeaki on the sideline. Moeaki "raced" down the sideline before being caught at the one. Wilson has been looking Moeaki's was a fair amount since he signed with the team, but he is not even close to the redraft radar.
