Trey Mancini does not have any structural damage in his injured knee and is expected to avoid the disabled list.

Mancini said Saturday that his knee is sore and swollen and that he'll miss a few games, but the disabled list doesn't appear likely. Craig Gentry will fill in while he's sidelined.

Yankees placed RHP Adam Warren on the 10-day disabled list with a right back strain.

The right-hander isn't expected to be sidelined for long. Jonathan Holder has been recalled from Triple-A to take his place in the bullpen.

Trey Mancini (knee) is not in the Orioles starting lineup on Saturday.

Mancini left Friday's game after slamming his knee into the wall and he'll take a day of rest to heal up. Craig Gentry is starting in his place and batting leadoff on Saturday.

Scott Schebler returned to the Reds lineup on Saturday.

He was activated from the disabled list on Friday, but didn't start. He's starting in center field and batting sixth against Carlos Martinez and the Cardinals.

Devon Travis (foot) remains out of the Blue Jays' starting lineup on Saturday.

It's unclear if his absence is related to fouling a ball off of his foot, or if the Jays' simply want to reward Lourdes Gurriel with another start after his strong debut on Friday. Gurriel is batting ninth against Jordan Montgomery and the Yankees on Saturday.
Apr 21 - 10:58 AM

Tommy Pham is absent from the Cardinals' starting lineup on Saturday.

Pham returned to the lineup on Friday after missing a few games with a groin injury, but it appears that the Cardinals are going to play it safe and ease him back into action. Harrison Bader is starting in center field and batting eighth for the Cardinals.
Apr 21 - 10:56 AM

Justin Smoak is not in the Blue Jays' starting lineup for Saturday afternoon's tilt against the Yankees.

Smoak has been really fighting it at the plate this season, so perhaps it's a day to clear his head. He's hitting .233/.352/.384 with two homers, 12 RBI and a 23/13 K/BB ratio in 88 plate appearances this season.
Apr 21 - 10:17 AM

Yankees recalled RHP Jonathan Holder from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

He'll provide a fresh arm in the Yankees' bullpen again. The 24-year-old has struggled in three appearances with the big league club this season, allowing seven runs (six earned) in his 2 2/3 innings (20.25 ERA).
