Colts CB Vontae Davis (ankle) is active for Week 3 against the Chargers.
He'll be making his season debut after missing about a month with an ankle injury. Davis' return will be a big boost to what has been a terrible pass defense, thought the Colts are also still without CB Patrick Robinson (concussion) and slot CB Darius Butler (hamstring). Philip Rivers remains a QB1.
Steelers declared QB Zach Mettenberger, CB Senquez Golson, C/G Chris Hubbard, LB Steven Johnson, FB Roosevelt Nix, C/G Cody Wallace and DE L.T. Walton inactive for Week 3 against the Eagles.
Roosevelt has a back injury while Golson is dealing with a foot issue. Ramon Foster, who was listed as questionable with an elbow injury, is active for Pittsburgh.
T.Y. Hilton (knee) is active for Week 3 against the Chargers.
Hilton was added to the injury report Thursday and missed Friday's practice, but it all seemed precautionary. Look for him to be locked up with budding star CB Jason Verrett on the outside much of the day.
Antonio Gates (hamstring) is inactive for Week 3 against the Colts.
Rookie Hunter Henry will get the start and play virtually every down against the Colts' awful tight end defense. Also inactive for the Chargers are LT King Dunlap (illness), SS Jahleel Addae, NT Ryan Carrethers, LB Joshua Perry, C Max Tuerk, and DE Joey Bosa. Bosa's debut will have to wait.
Eagles declared TE Zach Ertz, C Josh Andrews, OG Dillon Gordon, CB Leodis McKelvin, OG Isaac Seumalo, WR Bryce Treggs and OT Halapoulivaati Vaitai inactive for Week 3 against the Steelers.
Ertz is week to week with a displaced rib. Trey Burton will draw the start at tight end. Mychal Kendricks (nose, quad) is active for the Eagles.
Andrew Luck (shoulder) is active for Week 3 against the Chargers.
As expected. Despite being listed questionable, Luck was never in doubt. T.Y. Hilton (knee) is also active and starting. Inactive for the Colts are WR Donte Moncrief (shoulder blade), CB Darius Butler, CB Patrick Robinson, OT Le'Raven Clark, OG Denzelle Good, WR Devin Street, and NT T.Y. McGill.
Brandon Marshall (knee, foot) is officially active for Week 3 against the Chiefs.
Marshall is expected to be on a snap count, but he should see plenty of work on third downs and especially in the red zone. Those high-value snaps keep him in the WR2 conversation despite the limited work. New York declared ILB Erin Henderson, QB Bryce Petty, QB Christian Hackenberg, RB Troymaine Pope, CB Darryl Roberts, LB Mike Catapano, and OT Brandon Shell inactive for Week 3.
Chiefs declared RB Jamaal Charles, OL Parker Ehinger, OL Jah Reid, QB Tyler Bray, LB Sam Barrington, WR De'Anthony Thomas, and CB Kenneth Acker inactive for Week 3 against the Jets.
The Chiefs will get RG Laurent Duvernay-Tardif back after he sat out last week with an ankle injury, but he will not start. Charles saw some practice reps with the first-team and coach Andy Reid suggested he could be back next week, but his return date is still up in the air. Spencer Ware will continue to start as long as Charles is out.
