Andrew McCutchen hit a walkoff solo homer to lift the Pirates over the Diamondbacks 4-3 on Monday.

Pirates closer Tony Watson let up a game-tying two-run homer to Chris Iannetta in the top of the ninth inning, but McCutchen ended the afternoon affair as the first batter in the bottom of the ninth. It was the only hit of the game for McCutchen, though he did draw a walk and score a run in the bottom of the seventh. The veteran outfielder is slashing just .215/.290/.398 in 50 games, though he has tallied eight home runs and 24 RBI.

Chris Iannetta hit a pinch-hit game-tying two-run homer in the Diamondbacks' loss to the Pirates on Monday.

Iannetta went deep off Pirates closer Tony Watson in the top of the ninth inning, but Andrew McCutchen walked it off for the Bucs with a solo shot in the bottom of the ninth. Iannetta has six home runs and a cool .847 OPS in 25 games this season thanks to a recent hot streak.

Trevor Williams delivered six innings of one-run ball in the Pirates' victory over the Diamondbacks on Monday.

Williams yielded just four hits, didn't walk a batter, and struck out three. He deserved a win but took a no-decision after Pirates closer Tony Watson let up a game-tying two-run homer in the top of the ninth. Andrew McCutchen answered with a walkoff solo shot in the bottom of the ninth. Williams will carry a 5.20 ERA into his next start on the road versus the Mets.

Tony Watson blew a save but got a win Monday in the Pirates' defeat of the Diamondbacks.

Watson gave up a game-tying two-run shot to Chris Iannetta in the top of the ninth inning, but Andrew McCutchen answered with a walkoff blast in the bottom of the ninth. Watson has now allowed nine earned runs in May and he's blown his last two save opportunities. Felipe Rivero may get a look at closer earlier than anticipated.

Randall Delgado tossed 5 2/3 innings of one-run ball but took a no-decision in the Diamondbacks' loss to the Pirates on Monday.

Pittsburgh won the game on a walkoff homer by Andrew McCutchen in the bottom of the ninth inning. Archie Bradley served it up and took the loss. Delgado did his part, striking out eight batters and issuing zero walks while limiting the Bucs to five hits over 5 1/3 good frames. The right-hander should get another turn in the Arizona rotation, and it'll probably come over the weekend in Miami.

Chris Stewart was lifted from Monday's game versus the Diamondbacks with a left upper calf/hamstring injury.

It looks to be a day-to-day situation. Expect Francisco Cervelli to handle the catching for the Pirates for the next few days.

Koda Glover earned his sixth save of the season Monday in the Nationals' 3-0 blanking of the Giants.

Glover finished off the shutout with an easy 1-2-3 ninth inning, striking out two of the three batters he faced. The newly-anointed Nationals closer boasts a 2.20 ERA, 0.86 WHIP, and 15/2 K/BB ratio in 16 1/3 total innings this season. He hasn't allowed a run since April 25.

Gregory Polanco is expected to miss a couple games after being diagnosed with a sprained right ankle.

It certainly could have been much worse after Polanco needed to be carted off the field Monday when he tweaked his ankle as he ran into the side wall in the outfield. However, it appears that he's managed to avoid a serious injury.
