Newly signed Bills TE Tony Moeaki isn't expected to be active for Sunday's game.
Moeaki greatly improves the Bills' tight end corps, but is going to need a lot more than four days to learn the playbook. Moeaki will likely be eased in over the season's final month, and won't be a legitimate option in re-draft leagues. Although he has one of the league's longest injury histories, Moeaki is worth a flier in Dynasty formats.
Bills WR Marquise Goodwin was limited in Thursday's practice after "tweaking" his calf.
"He should be fine, but we rested him for the remainder of practice," coach Doug Marrone said afterward. That's all good and well, but Marrone hasn't exactly been the most truthful when it comes to injury information. Goodwin should be considered no better than 50-50 for Week 14, further dimming his WR4/5 star.
Jason Campbell (concussion) took the first-team reps in Thursday's practice.
Campbell will be officially "limited," but is on track to gain full clearance in the next 48 hours. Campbell was backed up by Caleb Hanie on Thursday. Brandon Weeden has yet to resume practicing. Campbell's likely return is excellent news for Josh Gordon, but Campbell won't be a recommended option against in two-QB leagues against the Patriots' defense.
Aaron Rodgers (collarbone) is in pads for Thursday's practice.
It's the first time Rodgers has been padded up since he broke his collarbone. It represents a step in the right direction, but most signs still point toward Matt Flynn starting Sunday's game against the Falcons. Flynn took the first-team reps again Thursday and the Packers have been adamant that they won't risk Rodgers' long-term future. He has not been cleared to take hits as far as we know. Coach Mike McCarthy will update the media on his quarterback's progress after practice.
Chiefs LT Branden Albert (knee) is not practicing this week.
Albert had to be carted off during last week's loss to the Broncos, but reportedly escaped without an overly serious injury. He's day to day with a hyperextension. Look for Donald Stephenson to man Alex Smith's blind side against the Redskins Sunday.
Chiefs OLB Justin Houston (elbow) is not practicing this week.
Houston is dealing with ligament damage stemming from the subluxed elbow he sustained in Week 12. It's reportedly a 2-3 week injury.
Brandon Myers (undisclosed) is not practicing Thursday.
Myers was riding the bike while the rest of the team worked out. He didn't appear to get injured during Sunday night's win at Washington, so it could be a rest day for the veteran. We'll know more after practice.
Brandon Jacobs (knee) is not practicing Thursday.
Jacobs hasn't played since the Dallas game back on Nov. 24. Peyton Hillis will back up Andre Brown against the Chargers Sunday.
