Charles Clay managed three catches for 21 yards on four targets in the Dolphins' Week 3 loss to the Chiefs.

Reportedly playing at less than 100 percent due to a knee injury, Clay has managed stat lines of 2-27, 7-31, and 3-21 to open the season. He's a TE2 until he shows better production. Clay won't even be a TE1 against the Raiders in Week 4.

Montee Ball rushed 14 times for 38 yards and caught two passes for six yards in Sunday's Week 3 overtime loss at Seattle.

Ball lost a fumble on his first carry of the game, but encouragingly was not benched. He just had no shot against a Seattle defense that was able to crowd the line of scrimmage most of the game before Peyton Manning finally abandoned the run. Things won't get much easier for Ball after the Week 4 bye, as he'll have to face the Cardinals, Jets and 49ers in Weeks 5-7. We still think his touchdown potential gives him borderline RB1 status the rest of the way. Don't sell low.

Brandon Gibson caught 1-of-4 targets for three yards in the Dolphins' Week 3 loss to the Chiefs.

He's running behind Jarvis Landry and behind outplayed by Rishard Matthews, leaving Gibson well off the radar in even deep fantasy football leagues.
Sep 21 - 8:45 PM

Daniel Thomas rushed twice for 15 yards and caught 1-of-2 targets for 21 yards in the Dolphins' Week 3 loss to Kansas City.

Lamar Miller handled 19 touches against the Chiefs and is the Dolphins' clear-lead back with Knowshon Moreno out 4-8 weeks. Thomas did get more playing time than Damien Williams on Sunday, but offers little or no fantasy appeal.
Sep 21 - 8:39 PM

Peyton Manning completed 31-of-49 passes for 303 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's Week 3 overtime loss at Seattle.

Manning and the Broncos played scared for most of this Super Bowl rematch, declining to test the Legion of Boom deep at all. But after falling behind 17-3 early in the fourth quarter, Manning finally got it going. The highlight was a masterful game-tying, 80-yard touchdown drive that was executed with no timeouts and 59 seconds on the clock. Manning will take eight touchdowns and one interception into the Week 3 bye, and then hosts the Cardinals in Week 5. He's well off last year's historic pace, but remains fantasy's No. 1 quarterback.
Sep 21 - 8:39 PM

Dolphins rookie RB Damien Williams lost three yards on his lone carry in Sunday's Week 3 loss to Kansas City.

Williams is a favorite of deep-league "stashers," but had fewer carries than Daniel Thomas on Sunday, and was not involved in the passing game against Kansas City. He's roughly an RB5/6 in fantasy football leagues.
Sep 21 - 8:37 PM

Jarvis Landry caught 3-of-7 targets for 24 yards in the Dolphins' Week 3 loss to Kansas City.

His highlight play was a 74-yard kickoff return. Landry continued to run ahead of Brandon Gibson (4 targets) and Rishard Matthews (1 target), but was among the many Dolphins players who dropped passes against the Chiefs. Landry is a WR4/5 in PPR leagues. He is returning both punts and kickoffs for the Dolphins, however, and has more appeal in return-yardage formats.
Sep 21 - 8:35 PM

Zach Miller caught two passes for 12 yards in Sunday's Week 3 win over the Broncos.

Miller's ankle was not an issue. The TE3 takes six catches for 76 yards and no touchdowns into the bye.
