Miguel Andujar is not in the Yankees' lineup Monday.

It looks to be a routine day off. Neil Walker will cover third base and Tyler Austin will be at first. The Yanks have also flip-flopped Didi Gregorius and Giancarlo Stanton in the batting order, moving the former down to the cleanup spot and the latter up to the three hole.

Carlos Martinez (lat) played long-toss on Monday.

Martinez said he was pain-free during the session. It's the first time he's done any throwing since he landed on the disabled list a week and a half ago with a right lat strain. When Martinez will resume throwing off a mound isn't known yet, but Cardinals president of baseball operations John Mozeliak said last Friday that the righty was likely at least 1-2 weeks away from a return.

Zach Davies (shoulder) is expected to rejoin the Brewers' rotation Thursday versus the Mets.

Davies had a setback with his shoulder earlier this month, but he bounced back quickly and struck out nine over 4 2/3 scoreless innings in a rehab start with Low-A Wisconsin on Saturday. The right-hander holds a 4.24 ERA and 25/12 K/BB ratio over 34 innings across six starts this season.

Tommy Kahnle (shoulder, biceps) will begin a rehab assignment with Low-A Charleston on Monday.

Kahnle has been out since mid-April with right shoulder and biceps tendinitis. He figures to need at least a couple rehab appearances before rejoining the Yankees' bullpen.

Dustin Pedroia (knee) will play in two more rehab games with Triple-A Pawtucket on Tuesday and Wednesday before being re-evaluated.

It's possible he'll be activated after that for the beginning of the Red Sox' six-game homestand on Friday. Pedroia has just one hit in eight at-bats in his first three rehab games for the PawSox but has drawn a couple walks. The important thing, of course, is how his surgically-repaired left knee feels, and all indications are that he feels good.
May 21 - 4:52 PM

Nationals manager Dave Martinez said Monday that Ryan Zimmerman (oblique) might be ready "fairly soon."

Zimmerman will need a short rehab assignment first, but it sounds like that might be imminent. The veteran first baseman has been sidelined for nearly two weeks with a strained right oblique. Zimmerman's fill-in, Matt Adams, has really cooled off of late after a hot start.
May 21 - 4:48 PM

Daniel Murphy (knee) still hasn't played in any extended spring training games because of illness.

Murphy was supposed to be nearly a week into game action by now, so it must be a nasty bug that he's fighting. The setback would presumably delay his return to the Nationals a bit, although there hasn't been any set timetable at this point.
May 21 - 4:45 PM

Rangers general manager Jon Daniels said Monday that Adrian Beltre (hamstring) is making progress but is still a few weeks away from a return.

Beltre has been on the disabled list twice this season with left hamstring issues, with the latest setback coming a week ago. The veteran third baseman has been a quick healer during his career, but given that he's 39 and has had an injury and then aggravation, it's not a surprise that he'll be out a while longer.
