Carlos Hyde (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 17.

Hyde's ankle injury will cost him the final two games of the season. His rookie year ends with 83 carries, 333 yards (4.0 YPC) and four touchdowns. Alfonso Smith will back up Frank Gore in the season finale.
Dec 26 - 6:02 PM

Brandon LaFell (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Week 17.

LaFell has started the last three games despite his shoulder issue. He's Rotoworld's No. 31 receiver play for Week 17.
Dec 26 - 5:44 PM

Julian Edelman (concussion) is listed as questionable for Week 17.

Edelman was limited in practice throughout the week. He needs just 28 yards to post consecutive 1,000-yard seasons, but is still in the final stage of the concussion protocol. Edelman would be a risky DFS play with the Patriots having already clinched the AFC's No. 1 seed.
Dec 26 - 5:30 PM

Shane Vereen (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 17.

Vereen's status isn't in doubt, but his workload is up in the air in a game where the Patriots may rest their starters. LeGarrette Blount is questionable and Jonas Gray has been ruled out, so Vereen could see the majority of carries this week.
Dec 26 - 5:16 PM

LeGarrette Blount (shoulder) remained limited in Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Week 17.

Blount was held out last week despite practicing on a limited basis. He could see limited snaps even if active. With Jonas Gray ruled out, Brandon Bolden and James White are candidates for expanded roles.
Dec 26 - 5:02 PM

Jonas Gray (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 17.

Gray didn't practice all week due to his ankle injury. The Patriots will get him extended rest before the playoffs. LeGarrette Blount (shoulder) and Shane Vereen (ankle) are listed as questionable against Buffalo.
Dec 26 - 4:56 PM

Jamaal Charles (ankle, hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 17.

He was limited in practice each day this week. Slowing down over the course of the season, Charles has finished on a disappointing note from a fantasy perspective. The Chiefs need a win against the Chargers to have a shot at the playoffs, however, and Charles almost certainly will play. You can see where Patrick Daugherty has Charles ranked among Week 17 running backs at the link below.
Dec 26 - 4:28 PM

Georgia RB Todd Gurley will forego his final season of college eligibility and enter the 2015 NFL draft.

A dominant college player, Gurley averaged 6.44 yards per carry during a three-year stay in Athens. He missed time due to injury over his final two seasons, however, and Gurley's physical running style may be partially to blame. A "special" talent, Gurley projects as a potential first-round pick in next May's draft, even at a position that's been "devalued" by the NFL in recent years. Also proficient in the passing game, Gurley comes from a pro-style offense and has been listed as big as 6-foot-1, 236. Gurley is currently rehabbing a torn ACL, suffered in November.
