Travis Kelce dropped out of Monday's practice with a "slight" ankle sprain.

Kelce missed Tuesday's session. We don't usually post such minor injury situations on Rotoworld, but have seen people freaking out about Kelce on Twitter. Coach Andy Reid stated after Tuesday's practice that Kelce has a "slightly" sprained ankle, and it is not of the high variety. Reid added that Kelce would be able to play if the Chiefs had a regular season game this week.

Julius Thomas will undergo surgery on his injured finger Wednesday.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports Thomas could be sidelined a month. That's in line with what GM David Caldwell said on Monday. Caldwell essentially ruled Thomas out for Weeks 1-3, calling Week 4 "realistic." Thomas is a tough sell as anything more than a TE2.

Randall Cobb (shoulder) expects to be ready for Week 1.

"I don't plan on missing a game," Cobb said. "I'm doing everything in my power to get back before then." The Packers are notoriously cautious with injuries, but most signs point toward Cobb being ready to go in 12 days against the Bears.

Johnny Manziel describes his elbow injury as "tendinitis," and says it's something he's dealt with since his freshman year of college.

Manziel also reveals he received a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews, but that the famed orthopedic surgeon didn't recommend surgery. Both Manziel and coach Mike Pettine expect him to be ready to back up Josh McCown in Week 1.

Bears claimed QB Zac Dysert off waivers from the Broncos.

Dysert played for coach John Fox and OC Adam Gase in Denver, but spent 2014 on the practice squad. He's insurance against backup Jimmy Clausen's concussion.

Federal judge Richard Berman expects a ruling in the Tom Brady case by the "end of the week."

A decision was tentatively expected to come down on Tuesday, but that isn't happening. Berman could be giving the sides more time to reach a settlement, but it's reportedly unlikely. Thankfully the melodramatic food fight will be over before Week 1.

Ravens TE Maxx Williams (undisclosed) will be ready for Week 1.

Williams missed last weekend's regular season dress rehearsal. "He's practicing, so he should be there for Denver," coach John Harbaugh said. "We just want to protect him from the bumps." Williams has had an unimpressive summer, but his potential role puts him on the TE2 radar.

Cardinals ILB Sean Weatherspoon (hamstring) has resumed practicing.

He'll play in Thursday's preseason finale after missing the first three exhibition contests. The Cardinals need Weatherspoon to play important snaps this season, but he has one of the longest injury histories in football. His odds of making it 16 games are slim.
