Ezekiel Elliott has been granted another temporary restraining order by the Southern District of New York, and will be allowed to play Week 7.

It takes Alfred Morris and Darren McFadden off the Week 7 fantasy radar. Elliott could also be available for Week 8, but that's yet to be determined. Beyond that is entirely unclear. It's still not a bad idea to add McFadden and Morris in fantasy, it's just unclear when they might be usable.

Ezekiel Elliott has been granted a temporary restraining order for his six-game suspension, and will be available for Week 7.

It means Elliott will start against the 49ers, and neither Darren McFadden nor Alfred Morris will be playable in fantasy. It's possible Elliott will also be available for Week 8 before the next decision is reached in his never-ending appeal. Elliott is seeking a "temporary injunction." It's still possible DMC and Morris both come onto the fantasy scene, and soon, we just don't know when. Again. Tread carefully when making Tuesday evening FAAB/waiver decisions.

Ezekiel Elliott has been granted another temporary restraining order by the Southern District of New York, and will be allowed to play Week 7.

Zeke's restraining order, apparently issued by a "fill-in" judge, is for 14 days. He will have to make his case to Judge Katherine Fallia when she returns from vacation "before or by Oct. 30." She will decide on a "preliminary injunction." Unbelievable. So it appears Elliott will also be good for Week 8. His long-term prospects remain clear as mud, but fantasy owners have at least one more game to get their fantasy backfield in order. Darren McFadden and Alfred Morris won't be playable this week.

49ers placed DE Arik Armstead (broken hand) on injured reserve.

The 49ers tipped their hand earlier Tuesday, signing DL Tony McDaniel and Leger Douzable. Armstead will presumably be a candidate for return, but he'll have to sit out eight games first, meaning he can't return until Week 16. At that point, the 49ers might not bother. The No. 17 overall pick of the 2015 draft, Armstead was off to a solid start this season, plugging the run and providing some pass rush. Things are in danger of getting really ugly for the rebuilding 49ers.

Bills signed WR Deonte Thompson.

RB Joe Banyard was released in a corresponding roster move. Cut by the Bears last Wednesday, Thompson has 11 receptions in five games this season. He should see immediate snaps for the Bills' laughably-thin receiver corps.

Saints promoted RB Daniel Lasco from the practice squad.

Lasco will slide in behind Mark Ingram, Alvin Kamara and Trey Edmunds. Lasco appeared in seven games in 2016, notching 11 carries.

Colts RB Robert Turbin (arm) will miss the remainder of the season.

Turbin's left arm got bent in sickening fashion against the Titans on Monday. He had handled a season-high seven touches before going down. Turbin was struggling behind Frank Gore, averaging 2.30 yards on his 23 carries. Two months shy of his 28th birthday, Turbin is signed for $1 million next season. His loss will create more opportunities for promising rookie Marlon Mack.

Redskins signed K Nick Rose.

Rose is replacing Dustin Hopkins, who has been sent to injured reserve with a hip issue. A 2016 UDFA out of Texas, Rose has never appeared in a regular season game. He was a 71.1 percent field goal kicker in the Big 12.
