Jonas Gray is active for Week 12 against the Lions.

So is LeGarrette Blount. Gray is "up" despite missing Friday's practice, but his usage and role are entirely up in the air. It wouldn't be surprising if he got 12-14 carries against Detroit. It wouldn't be surprising, either, if he didn't play at all. He's an extremely volatile Week 12 fantasy start.

Jarius Wright is active for Week 12 against the Packers.

With both Wright and Greg Jennings active, Charles Johnson figures to remain in his No. 4 receiver role despite last week's mini-breakout.

ESPN's Adam Schefter said on Sunday NFL Countdown that Dan "Boom" Herron is a guy to watch "today and moving forward" in the Colts' backfield.

Herron was a preseson darling, rushing for 112 yards on 22 carries and catching 11 passes for 55 yards and one touchdown. He's a downhill, north-south runner. The Colts see the writing on the wall with Trent Richardson; he doesn't hit the hole hard and sometimes doesn't even see the gaping holes in the running game. Richardson will get the first carries Sunday against the Jaguars, but it may not be long before we see Herron. He's a worthy add for the stretch run.

Despite the fact that Gio Bernard is "starting" on Sunday, the Cincinnati Enquirer's Paul Dehner is "still seeing" a 65:35 split in favor of Jeremy Hill against the Texans.

The Bengals know they need both backs fully bought in as they prepare for a playoff push, so they are keeping Gio as the nominal starter, and probably will for the rest of the season. Hill is the better bet for a higher workload after dominating during Bernard's absence. Gio is coming off a hip pointer, the same injury that torpedoed Ray Rice's 2013 season. Hill is an RB2 play with RB1 upside against Houston. Bernard is a dice-roll flex.

Sources tell ESPN's Chris Mortensen that Robert Griffin III will be on a short leash in Sunday's Week 12 game at San Francisco.

The Redskins dysfunction continues. Taking over as "Raiders East," they're now leaking that they could yank RG3 in favor of Colt McCoy -- either during Sunday's game or ahead of Week 3. Head coach Jay Gruden has sharply criticized Griffin's fundamentals this week and even said the 2012 No. 2 overall pick has been "coddled." The Redskins, 0-2 since RG3 returned from a dislocated ankle, are 9.5-point underdogs Sunday.

Colts declared TE Dwayne Allen, LCB Greg Toler, OG Lance Louis, OL Khaled Holmes, DT Kelcy Quarles, RT Gosder Cherilus, and DL Zach Kerr inactive for Week 12 against the Jaguars.

Allen (ankle) is week-to-week. Toler suffered a concussion last week, forcing Darius Butler and Josh Gordy into heavier snaps against Cecil Shorts and company. Cherilus a shoulder injury. Joe Reitz will start at right tackle.

Bucs LCB Alterraun Verner (hamstring) is active for Week 12 against the Bears.

Verner has not been stellar this year, but he will be a much-needed upgrade for the Bucs' secondary in a matchup against Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery. Even with Verner back, Marshall and Jeffery should dominate Week 12.
Nov 23 - 11:47 AM

Titans CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson (back) is inactive for Sunday's Week 12 game at Philadelphia.

The Titans will also be without CB Marqueston Huff (hamstring). This defense projects to get shredded by Chip Kelly's scheme.
