Dolphins LT Branden Albert (ankle) will be a game-time decision for Thursday's game against the Bengals.

Sep 27 - 3:13 PM

Tyler Eifert (ankle) remained "limited" in Tuesday's practice.

ESPN's Bob Holtzman has reported Eifert will not play on Thursday. The limited practices make him a good bet to make his 2016 debut in Week 5.

Redskins placed C Kory Lichtensteiger on injured reserve with a calf injury, ending his season.

John Sullivan has already been signed as Lichtensteiger's replacement. This will be the second straight year Lichtensteiger ends on I.R. He'll head into 2017 having appeared in 8-of-32 games since 2014. Now 31, Lichtensteiger won't be back at his $3.25 million salary next season, and probably won't be back at all.
Sep 27 - 2:30 PM

Bears signed RB Joique Bell.

Bell hasn't been an effective player since 2012, averaging 3.8 yards per carry over the past three seasons, but the Bears needed to add a back with Jeremy Langford (ankle) and Ka'Deem Carey (hamstring) down. Bell will probably have an immediate Week 4 role behind Jordan Howard, but won't be a recommended fantasy option in any format. Bell's arrival doesn't ding Howard's upside. Someone has to back the rookie up.
Sep 27 - 2:11 PM

Redskins signed C John Sullivan.

Kory Lichtensteiger has a season-ending calf injury, so Sullivan will slide in as the Redskins' immediate starter. Sullivan was one of the most durable players in the league from 2009-14, but missed all of 2015 with a back injury. He remained highly effective in 2014, but is now 31. He couldn't make it to final cuts in Minnesota. The pivot will remain a concern in Washington.
Sep 27 - 2:07 PM

ESPN's Ed Werder reports Mohamed Sanu (shoulder) is expected to be fine for Week 4.

Sanu missed the second half of Monday's win, but appears to have avoided major injury. Sanu was been a big part of the Falcons' offense through three games, but at less than full health against the Panthers' stout defense, he'll be a low-upside WR4 if he indeed suits up Sunday.
Sep 27 - 1:47 PM

Patriots QB Jacoby Brissett (thumb) practiced Tuesday.

As did Jimmy Garoppolo (shoulder). The early signs suggest Garoppolo will start against the Bills, but Brissett wasn't spotted wearing a brace. It sounds like he'll be ready if Garoppolo misses his second straight start.
Sep 27 - 1:46 PM

49ers CB Jimmie Ward (quad) is week to week.

It's actually good news after Ward went down in non-contact fashion. Keith Reaser will likely start in his absence.
