Paul Goldschmidt went 2-for-5 with an RBI single and a run scored in Sunday's 11-inning win over the Phillies.

Goldschmidt hit an RBI single in the second inning to give the Diamondbacks a 1-0 lead. The score would hold right there until the seventh inning, when Howie Kendrick came up with an RBI knock of his own to tie the game. Daniel Descalso would ultimately win it for the Diamondbacks with an RBI single in the bottom of the 11th. For his part, Goldy is now working to a beautiful .333/.448/.611 triple-slash with 18 homers, 65 RBI and 13 steals in 274 at-bats.

Howie Kendrick went 1-for-1 with a pinch-hit RBI single in Sunday's 11-inning loss to the Diamondbacks.

Kendrick did not start the contest -- he is dealing with hamstring tightness -- but did come on to pinch hit in the seventh inning, when he hit an RBI single to tie the game at 1-1. The veteran second baseman has appeared in just 32 games this season due to various roadblocks on the health front.
Jun 25 - 8:15 PM

Aaron Altherr went 3-for-5 with a triple in Sunday's 11-inning loss to the Diamondbacks.

The triple was Altherr's second of the season. He has picked up six hits in his last 14 at-bats and is slashing a cool .284/.353/.529 with 12 homers and 39 RBI in 65 games this season.

Jose Ramirez contributed two hits Sunday in the Indians’ 4-0 loss to Minnesota.

He and Lonnie Chisenhall tied for the team-lead with two hits a piece. Ramirez also supplied his eighth steal of the season. He’s hit a ridiculous .376 this month and ranks second in the American League in doubles behind Boston's Mookie Betts.
Jun 25 - 8:05 PM

Randall Delgado fired off five scoreless innings while taking a no-decision in Sunday's 11-inning win over the Phillies.

Delgado scattered four hits while striking out four and walking one. He finished his afternoon having thrown 75 pitches (43 strikes). The 27-year-old right-hander has gotten the job done this season, pitching to a 3.18 ERA and 1.11 WHIP over 22 appearances (five starts).

Jason Castro drove in three of Minnesota’s four runs Sunday in a win over the Indians.

Castro plated Eddie Rosario and Eduardo Escobar on a second-inning double before adding to his tally with another RBI double in the sixth. That was all the offense the Twins needed in a 4-0 victory. Despite Sunday’s explosion, Castro is still hitting a weak .222 over 180 at-bats this year.
Jun 25 - 8:04 PM

Eddie Rosario delivered three hits Sunday in the Twins’ victory over the Indians.

He scored three of Minnesota’s four runs, coming around on Jason Castro’s RBI double in the second, homering in the fourth and scoring on another Castro double in the sixth. Five of Rosario’s 10 homers this year have come in the month of June. The Twins’ three-game sweep of Cleveland gives them a half-game lead in the AL Central.
Jun 25 - 8:03 PM

Jeremy Hellickson surrendered just one run on three hits over six innings while taking a no-decision in Sunday's 11-inning loss to the Diamondbacks.

In terms of runs, Hellickson allowed just a Paul Goldschmidt RBI single in the fourth inning. That had him on the hook to take a tough-luck loss, but the Phillies managed to tie the game at 1-1 in the seventh to make it a bullpen game. Hellickson struck out seven without walking a batter in the crisp outing. Next up on the docket, a road start against the Mets. The veteran right-hander will carry a 4.40 ERA and 1.26 WHIP into that affair.
