Bleacher Report's Jason Cole reports the Patriots expect Danny Amendola (knee) to return Week 13 against the Eagles.
Amendola did not make the trip to Denver, but that decision came all the way down to Saturday morning. Another week of rehab should have him ready to go. With reports suggesting Rob Gronkowski (knee) also could be available this week, Tom Brady's outlook for Week 13 is suddenly a lot brighter.
NJ Advanced Media's Jordan Raanan reports there is 'legitimate hope' Giants RG Geoff Schwartz (broken leg) may be able to return this season.
Schwartz said Sunday via Twitter the injury may not be season ending, but it is difficult to believe he can come back this year from a true fracture in his lower leg. Schwartz will undergo further testing Monday.
Dolphins interim coach Dan Campbell said Rishard Matthews (chest, ribs) may not play this week.
Matthews was knocked out of the Dolphins Week 12 loss to the Jets early. DeVante Parker played 59-of-72 snaps with Matthews sidelined and could be in line for a start if Matthews is forced to miss. Parker is worth a look in deeper leagues.
Dolphins interim coach Dan Campbell called C Mike Pouncey (foot) "day to day."
It suggests Pouncey's foot injury is not as severe as it looked when he was carted off the field in the first quarter Sunday. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports it is a minor foot sprain. Pouncey may be able to play this week.
Alfred Morris played 42-of-71 offensive snaps Week 12 against the Giants.
Matt Jones played just 18 and was out-touched 24-to-9 by Morris. After Jones' fumbling issues popped up again last week, it appears Morris is once again the lead back in Washington, but that job has proven to be temporary so far this season. Morris will at best be a low-upside RB3 Monday night against the Cowboys.
Bills DE Alex Carrington is done for the season after tearing his quad Week 12 against the Chiefs.
Carrington was forced into a starting role with Mario Williams out with a foot injury, but he played just 32 snaps before tearing his quad. An unrestricted free agent this offseason, Carrington will try to latch on somewhere as a versatile backup.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Ben Roethlisberger may not have suffered a concussion Week 12 against the Seahawks.
Bleacher Report's Jason Cole has a similar report Sunday night, suggesting Roethlisberger would be cleared through the concussion protocol early this week. Ben self-reported his symptoms late in the loss, but those symptoms reportedly "subsided quickly." It looks like Roethlisberger will play this week.
Colts placed RB Ahmad Bradshaw on season-ending injured reserve with a wrist injury.
RB Zurlon Tipton was added to the roster in a corresponding move. Bradshaw was playing well the last several weeks, but the veteran will finish the season on injured reserve for the third-straight year. With Frank Gore falling apart down the stretch, recently re-claimed RB Dan Herron should play a role the rest of the season.
