Arizona Sports 98.7's Mike Jurecki reports the Cardinals have "reached out" to Blaine Gabbert about a contract extension.

GM Steve Keim said Monday there is not "any question" the team would like to have Gabbert back. The former first-rounder signed a one-year deal in May to be the No. 3 quarterback, but injuries to both Carson Palmer and Drew Stanton thrust him into the starting role and perhaps even more. With Palmer's future uncertain, the Cardinals are in desperate need for at the very least a bridge quarterback, and it looks like they think Gabbert can be that guy. He certainly looked the part in his first two starts including an impressive performance against Jacksonville, but he has looked a lot more like Blaine Gabbert the last two weeks. Still, it makes sense to keep him around as Arizona searches for their quarterback of the future.

Texans coach Bill O'Brien said he expects T.J. Yates to start Week 15 against the Jaguars.

This always appeared to be the likely outcome after Tom Savage suffered a nasty-looking concussion against the 49ers. Yates played relatively well after entering the game, hooking up with DeAndre Hopkins for two touchdowns, but he will face a considerably more difficult test this week in Jacksonville. The Jaguars DST will certainly be highly owned in DFS.

Vikings LT Riley Reiff (ankle) was spotted in a walking boot following the Week 14 loss to the Panthers.

Reiff limped off the field in the third quarter before riding a cart into the locker room. Coach Mike Zimmer did not have an update after the game, but the boot is obviously a concern. With RT Mike Remmers still sidelined with a back injury and C Pat Elflein dealing with a shoulder issue, the Vikings suddenly have big questions along the offensive line heading into a matchup with the Bengals this week.

NBC Sports Boston's Phil Perry reports Chris Hogan (shoulder, questionable) will play Monday night against the Dolphins.

ESPN's Mike Reiss reported the same on Sunday. Trusting players coming back from a long injury layoff is always a risk, but the Patriots need Hogan to play a big role with Rob Gronkowski suspended. Hogan will be an upside WR3 on Monday night.

Giants interim coach Steve Spagnuolo expects Eli Apple (personal, hip) to return Week 15 against the Eagles.

Apple has been sidelined since Week 10 because of a personal issue and a hip injury, but there is reportedly more going on behind the scenes. Apple reportedly threatened to leave the facility after being called out in a team meeting after Week 10, the last game he was active, and ESPN's Jordan Raanan reports the corner is "disliked within the organization." With the GM who drafted him, Jerry Reese, no longer around, the Giants could look to move on this offseason.

Jets coach Todd Bowles said Bryce Petty will start if Josh McCown (broken hand) cannot play Week 15 against the Saints.

It makes sense as Petty has been the No. 2 quarterback all season and replaced McCown against the Broncos. Petty was terrible in relief, however, and it would make sense for the Jets to see how bad Christian Hackenberg actually is. If McCown's season is over, both Petty and Hackenberg should see snaps down the stretch.

Greg Olsen played 59-of-64 (92 percent) snaps Week 14 against the Vikings.

Olsen briefly left after getting his surgically-repaired foot rolled up, but he only ended up missing a few snaps. The snap share is good to see, but Olsen was only targeted once in the win and did not come down with the pass. Coach Ron Rivera said after the game Olsen's "role will expand," but it will be tough to trust him as a starting option in the fantasy semifinals.

Jesse James caught 10-of-12 targets for 97 yards in Week 14 against Baltimore.

This was easily his best game of the year. James and Vance McDonald were both heavily involved on a night Ben Roethlisberger threw for 500-plus yards. McDonald looks likely to miss time with a shoulder injury, so James could have some low-end streaming value in Week 15.
