ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Russell Wilson (knee, ankle) is "expecting to play" Week 4 against the Jets.

Wilson is really banged up -- battling a high-ankle sprain in his right leg and a reported sprained MCL in his left -- but early word is he's going to give it a go next Sunday. It's obviously way early to assume these things, and we should know more after his MRI on Monday. Consider him day to day for now.

Wendell Smallwood racked up 79 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries Sunday in the Eagles' Week 3 win over the Steelers.

The Eagles’ No. 4 running back (according to their most recent depth chart) announced his presence with a big second half, gashing the Steelers for 64 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries after the intermission. Smallwood saw the vast majority of Philadelphia’s rushing work with Ryan Mathews sidelined for most of the game. It’s notable that Smallwood also got first dibs on goal-line carries with Darren Sproles limited to a receiving role and Kenjon Barner handling change-of-pace work. Obviously Philadelphia’s huge lead afforded Smallwood a longer leash but it will be interesting to see how the backfield duties shake out after the Eagles come off their bye week.
Sep 25 - 9:20 PM

Darren Sproles lost one yard on two carries and caught all six of his targets for 126 yards and a touchdown Sunday in the Eagles' Week 3 win over the Steelers.

Sproles led Philadelphia in targets, catches and receiving yards. The highlight of his afternoon, and the Eagles’ day in general, was a magnificent 73-yard catch-and-run in the third quarter. Carson Wentz improvised on the play, scrambling toward the right sideline before finding Sproles wide open about 25 yards up the field. Sproles crossed the goal-line untouched after weaving through a maze of defenders in the Steelers’ secondary. Fantasy owners can’t bank on his usage but Sproles is among the best gadget players in football and is always a threat to take it in for six. He’ll get a bye before facing the Lions in Week 5.
Sep 25 - 9:19 PM

Jordan Matthews secured two-of-three targets for 19 yards and a touchdown Sunday in the Eagles' Week 3 win over the Steelers.

Matthews didn’t see a heavy workload in this one as the Eagles jumped out to a big lead and spent most of the second half salting the clock. The red sea parted for him on his 11-yard touchdown as Matthews blew by William Gay for an easy six points. He also made a terrific catch that would have gone for a huge gain in the fourth quarter but he couldn’t keep his feet in bounds. The Eagles have a bye week coming up but face the Lions in Week 5.
Sep 25 - 9:15 PM

Trey Burton snagged two-of-six targets for 19 yards Sunday in the Eagles' Week 3 win over the Steelers.

Burton may have been the only receiver Carson Wentz didn’t have great chemistry with on Sunday. Both of his catches came in the first half before the Eagles laid waste to the Steelers with a 21-point third quarter. Burton earned more targets than blocking tight end Brent Celek but Celek outgained him by 42 yards. Zach Ertz (ribs) could return after the Eagles’ bye week, which would likely send Burton back to the bench.
Sep 25 - 9:13 PM

Dorial Green-Beckham hauled in three-of-four targets for 33 yards Sunday in the Eagles' Week 3 win over the Steelers.

His 33 yards were a season-high. Green-Beckham has now seen just 10 targets over his first three games and has yet to score a touchdown. Until his volume increases, fantasy owners can leave him on the waiver wire.
Sep 25 - 9:11 PM

Nelson Agholor snared all three of his targets for 21 yards Sunday in the Eagles' Week 3 win over the Steelers.

With Darren Sproles and Wendell Smallwood doing the heavy lifting, the Eagles didn’t need Agholor to do much on Sunday. He performed when called upon but obviously Agholor didn’t play a big role in this one. Agholor has averaged just five targets per game this season. That’s barely enough to keep him on the WR4/5 radar.
Sep 25 - 9:09 PM

Kenjon Barner rushed eight times for 42 yards and a touchdown Sunday in the Eagles' Week 3 win over the Steelers.

His eight-yard touchdown in the third quarter put an exclamation point on a huge win for the Eagles. Barner split carries with Wendell Smallwood, though he wasn’t involved in the passing game. It’s unclear what kind of role Barner can expect going forward, but he’ll certainly get more run if Ryan Mathews’ ankle injury lingers.
