Shane Vereen rushed twice for one yard and caught three passes for 14 yards Week 17 against the Bills.

Vereen was very limited in the meaningless season finale. He did not see much of the field in the first half, and did not have a touch or target after halftime. Vereen was dealing with an ankle injury heading into the game, but his lack of involvement had more to do with the nature of the game. He will be good to go when the Patriots open the playoffs in two weeks.

Teddy Bridgewater completed 17-of-25 throws for 209 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Vikings' Week 17 win over the Bears, adding 18 yards rushing.

He also had a long first-quarter touchdown pass to Greg Jennings called back. Bridgewater closes out his promising rookie campaign with a touchdown pass in ten straight games. His TD-to-INT ratio over the final six weeks was 10:6. Bridgewater does not have a cannon arm and is small from a size standpoint, but he is a cool, composed pocket passer with sneaky athleticism and pretty consistent accuracy. It's fair to wonder what Bridgewater's long-term ceiling is for fantasy football, but he showed an ability to pick apart defenses at the short and intermediate levels down the stretch of his rookie year. He was in full command over the final month and a half, outplaying the rest of the 2014 quarterback class. Bridgewater will likely be a top 15-18 quarterback in 2015 re-draft leagues. Dynasty owners should be excited.

Dan Herron rushed 10 times for 35 yards and caught three passes for 31 yards in Sunday's Week 17 win at Tennessee.

Dec 28 - 3:59 PM

Brandon Bolden rushed five times for 15 yards Week 17 against the Bills.

Bolden saw most of the early work for New England, but ceded running back touches to LaGarrette Blount as the game wore on. With Blount back healthy and Jonas Gray (ankle) close to returning, Bolden could find himself inactive when the Patriots open the playoffs.
Dec 28 - 3:58 PM

LaGarrette Blount (shoulder) rushed 10 times for 62 yards Week 17 against the Bills.

The Patriots rested most of their starters, but Blount was featured all the way into the fourth quarter despite coming into the game with a shoulder injury. That usage does not say much for his standing in the New England offense, though Jonas Gray (ankle) being inactive may have force Blount into more work. With his shoulder at almost 100 percent, Blount should be ready to rock when the Patriots return from their first-round bye.
Dec 28 - 3:56 PM

Jimmy Garoppolo completed 10-of-17 passes for 90 yards and no scores after replacing Tom Brady at halftime of the Patriots' Week 17 matchup with the Bills.

Garoppolo made a couple wow plays on the ground, but overall struggled to move the ball against the Bills' stout pass defense. The Patriots' only points of the second half came on a short field after a long Danny Amendola punt return. Garoppolo will resume clipboard duties when the Patriots return from their first-round bye.
Dec 28 - 3:53 PM

Sammy Watkins caught 3-of-5 targets for 57 yards Week 17 against the Patriots.

Watkins hit the rookie wall hard in the second half of the season, but finished with a touchdown or 100 yards receiving in two of his last four games. Watkins finishes his rookie season with 65 catches for 982 yards and six touchdowns. One of the most talented receivers in what will turn out to be the best receiver class in the history of the NFL, Watkins' 2015 success hinges on how the Bills address their quarterback situation this offseason.

Browns SCB K'Waun Williams suffered an apparent head injury Week 17 against the Ravens.

Williams' head slammed into the ground has he made a diving pass breakup in the end zone early in the fourth quarter. He is being evaluated for a concussion. Williams has been solid across 328 snaps this season.
