Jameson Taillon (cancer) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Tuesday.

Taillon struck out six batters over three scoreless innings Sunday with Double-A Altoona, just three weeks removed from surgery for testicular cancer. The Pirates haven't revealed a specific timetable for his return, but Taillon expects to make at least one more start in the minors.

Eduardo Nunez is not in Monday's lineup against the Nationals.

Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle notes that Nunez was being checked for a possible concussion, so there should be an update on his status soon. Christian Arroyo will start at third base and Mac Williamson will play left. Justin Ruggiano is starting in right field.

Rays recalled RHP Jose De Leon from Triple-A Durham.

This confirms a report from ESPN's Buster Olney. De Leon is expected to provide some bullpen depth behind Erasmo Ramirez for Monday's game against the Rangers. He's obviously a name to keep an eye on, but it's unclear if he'll stick around for long.

Neil Walker is not in Monday's lineup against the Brewers.

Walker is just getting a breather. Wilmer Flores will cover second base and bat seventh against right-hander Matt Garza.

Huston Street (lat, shoulder) allowed two runs on two hits in two-thirds of an inning in his latest rehab appearance with Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.

It was his third rehab appearance and his first time trying to pitch on back-to-back days. Street has been sidelined all season with lat and shoulder injuries and will likely need another handful of appearances before joining the Angels' bullpen. Bud Norris has emerged as the Angels' closer and might stay in that role even after Street and Cam Bedrosian are back to full health.

Erasmo Ramirez is still expected to start Monday against the Rangers.

Jose De Leon was scratched from his start in Triple-A on Monday and is reportedly on his way to the majors, but it sounds like he could just give the Rays some insurance out of the bullpen. Ramirez threw 12 pitches in relief and notched the save on Sunday against the Twins.
May 29 - 1:48 PM

Tyler Pill will start Tuesday against the Brewers.

That was the expectation, but it's now official. Pill pitched two-thirds of an inning in relief in his major league debut Saturday against the Pirates. The 27-year-old posted a 1.96 ERA through seven starts in Triple-A this year, though he struck out just 23 batters in 46 innings. He can be avoided in fantasy leagues.
May 29 - 1:44 PM

Daniel Murphy (illness) has returned to the Nationals' lineup Monday against the Giants.

Murphy was held out of the starting lineup over the weekend while dealing with a stomach bug. He should be good to go moving forward.
