Patriots RT Marcus Cannon (ankle, concussion) didn't practice on Wednesday.

Sep 20 - 5:46 PM

Packers re-signed DL Ricky Jean-Francois.

The Packers gave up on Jean-Francois after Week 1, but he's back with Mike Daniels sidelined. Jean-Francois will be part of a rotation with Montravius Adams and Quinton Dial opposite Kenny Clark. He isn't guaranteed a spot once Daniels is healthy.
Sep 20 - 5:43 PM

Rams CB Kayvon Webster (shoulder) is questionable for Week 3.

Webster is closer to doubtful after not practicing all week. Nickell Robey-Coleman should continue to start against the 49ers.
Sep 20 - 5:41 PM

Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

It's a new injury for Thomas, who caught 6-of-8 targets for 71 yards last week. The limited practice suggests he's on track to play, but any hamstring issue is a concern. Thomas has a matchup with Buffalo in Week 3.
Sep 20 - 5:39 PM

Gerald Everett (thigh) is questionable for Week 3 against the 49ers.

Everett didn't practice Monday, but was limited the last two days. He'll likely come down to a game-time decision after leaving in the third quarter last week. Everett broke out for a season-high 95 yards before going down, but is a Week 3 fade at less than 100 percent.
Sep 20 - 5:24 PM

Updating an earlier report, Rob Gronkowski (groin) did not practice on Wednesday.

He was seen working on his blocking technique with fellow tight end Dwayne Allen at Wednesday's practice, but the Patriots still listed him as a DNP. Gronk has downplayed his injury since Sunday. Nothing can be taken for granted given his lengthy injury history, but we're still counting on Gronk to be available for Week 3.
Sep 20 - 5:22 PM

Patriots LB Dont'a Hightower (knee) returned to a limited practice on Wednesday.

It's a step in the right direction after sitting out all three practices last week. Hightower recently had his knee looked at by Dr. James Andrews, which is never a good sign. It's a coin flip whether he suits up Sunday versus Houston.
Sep 20 - 5:20 PM

Phillip Dorsett (knee) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

He exited Week 2 with a knee injury but it was never thought to be anything serious. Dorsett impressed with 68 yards last week at New Orleans but we wouldn't expect a repeat performance Sunday versus Houston.
