Willy Hernangomez was held to eight points on 4-of-6 shooting vs. the Raptors on Monday.
The Raptors are a top-10 team against opposing centers in terms of fantasy points allowed, so we'll cut the rookie some slack. He grabbed nine rebounds with two asists and one steal, and with Joakim Noah (knee surgery) likely out for the season, he could be the starter the rest of the way. He's worth owning in standard leagues.
Andre Iguodala had two points, tied a season high with 10 rebounds, and added two assists, three steals, a block and a 3-pointer in 28 minutes off the bench on Monday.
Igodala set a season high with nine assists in his previous game and filled the stat sheet tonight, despite a lack of scoring. He's averaging 7.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.8 steals, 1.2 blocks and 0.6 3-pointers on 52 percent shooting over his last five games. He's tough to own while scoring so few points, but if you're in a deep league, he might be able to help with the boards, dimes, steals and blocks.
Carmelo Anthony scored 24 points on 9-of-26 shooting in Monday's 92-91 loss to the Raptors.
Melo hit a game-winner against Philly on Saturday, but couldn't duplicate his success on Monday night -- he missed a wide-open 3-pointer with less than two seconds on the clock. He hit 4-of-4 from the line and added four rebounds, two assists, one steal and two triples, but his owners are just hoping that he doesn't get shut down as the Knicks fall further out of playoff contention.
Steph Curry hit just 7-of-23 shots and was 0-for-11 from downtown for 19 points, four rebounds, six assists, two steals and four turnovers in Monday's 119-108 win over the Sixers.
There's no disputing that this was a bad night for Curry, but he still came through with some points, assists and steals. Owners were clearly expecting more, but he should bounce back against the Wizards on Wednesday night. Klay Thompson added 21 points, three 3-pointers and two steals in the loss.
Ty Lawson will start on Monday vs. the Wolves, sending Tyreke Evans back to the bench.
The Kings shuffle their lineups quite often, so don't read too much into this. Lawson is more of a deep-league guy right now with averages of 6.0 points and 4.0 assists in his last two games, while Evans' value should be safe regardless of where he starts the game -- the Kings are thin on the wings right now and Arron Afflalo (hamstring) and Garrett Temple (hamstring) are both out Monday.
Kyrie Irving posted 25 points with nine assists in Monday's win against the Bucks.
Irving also chipped in with four rebounds, two steals and a pair of 3-pointers in 37 minutes. He was certainly well-rounded and not 'flat' in this outing. Irving has 22 or more points in 10 consecutive outings, his longest such streak of the season. He'll look to keep it rolling against the Celtics on Wednesday's road outing, a team yielding 105.5 PPG.
Zaza Pachulia had a season-high 16 points, five rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block on 5-of-5 shooting in just 15 minutes of Monday's win over the Sixers.
Pachulia was great tonight and has played well in each of his three games since returning from a shoulder injury, but is averaging just under 18 minutes a game in them. And with so few minutes, it's tough to rely on him in fantasy unless you're in a deep, two-center league.
Kevin Durant returned from a one-game absence due to his left hand injury and hit 8-of-17 shots, a 3-pointer and 10-of-11 free throws for 27 points, eight rebounds, four assists and a block in Monday's 119-108 win over the Sixers.
It was great to see KD back in action and while it wasn't his most efficient line of the season, he did enough of everything to help his owners, as usual. Hopefully the hand feels good in the morning and he's good to go from here on in.
