Byron Marshall logged 18 yards on four carries while delivering one catch for 12 yards on two targets Thursday in the Redskins’ Week 12 win over the Giants.

He was limited to change-of-pace duties behind Samaje Perine. In the second half, Marshall dropped a pass from Kirk Cousins that Janoris Jenkins returned for a pick-six. Marshall should continue to see work on passing downs with Chris Thompson (leg) sidelined, but it’s unlikely he’ll emerge as a fantasy option down the stretch.

Ryan Grant contributed one catch for three yards on two targets Thursday in the Redskins’ Week 12 win over the Giants.

He drew fewer targets Jamison Crowder, Niles Paul, Josh Doctson and Samaje Perine. Grant will stay in the mix with Terrelle Pryor (ankle) done for the year, though his fantasy appeal remains limited. He gets the Cowboys in Week 13.

Wayne Gallman produced 37 yards on nine carries while securing two catches for six yards on two targets Thursday in the Giants’ Week 12 loss to the Redskins.

Gallman outgained Orleans Darkwa on the ground while out-snapping him 22-19. The 11 touches were Gallman’s most since Week 6, though he managed a long run of only nine yards. It appears Gallman has worked his way back into a timeshare with Darkwa, though trusting any Giants running back in this broken offense is probably a fool’s errand. The rookie will look to end a seven-game touchdown drought next week against the Raiders.

Evan Engram came down with three catches for 18 yards on seven targets Thursday in the Giants’ Week 12 loss to the Redskins.

Engram saw plenty of targets in Sterling Shepard’s absence but obviously didn’t move the needle much in this one. The rookie committed two drops, which gives him nine for the year. That’s second in the league behind only Amari Cooper. This was a night Engram will want to forget, but lucky for him, he’ll be in prime bounce-back position next week against a listless Raiders secondary.
Nov 24 - 1:02 AM

Roger Lewis corralled three-of-seven targets for 26 yards Thursday in the Giants’ Week 12 loss to the Redskins.

Lewis was the big hero last week with his overtime catch versus Kansas City, but there were no such heroics on Thursday night. He converted a third-and-long with an impressive 19-yard catch in the second quarter, but was otherwise held in check. He gets a favorable matchup against the Raiders next week, but remains little more than a desperate bench stash in fantasy.

Orleans Darkwa managed just 30 yards on 11 carries while adding one catch for nine yards on one target Thursday in the Giants’ Week 12 loss to the Redskins.

Darkwa’s workload Thursday was his lightest since Week 7. What’s more concerning is that he was out-snapped by rookie Wayne Gallman, who led the Giants with 37 yards on nine carries. With Gallman beginning to get more work, Darkwa will just be an RB3 next week at Oakland.
Nov 24 - 1:00 AM

Shane Vereen provided 18 yards on three carries while grabbing one-of-two targets for nine yards Thursday in the Giants’ Week 12 loss to the Redskins.

His lone catch came with 1:49 remaining in the fourth quarter. Vereen has seen a combined nine touches over his last two games and hasn’t visited the end zone since Week 3 of 2016. As the third-string running back in a bad offense, there’s not much to like here. Vereen can be safely ignored in all fantasy formats next week against the Raiders.
Nov 24 - 12:58 AM

Eli Manning completed 13-of-27 passes for 113 yards and one interception Thursday in the Giants’ Week 12 loss to the Redskins.

Eli took four sacks for a loss of 27 yards. Manning was doomed from the start playing without Sterling Shepard (migraines) and never got on the same page with Evan Engram (three catches for 18 yards on seven targets). He only made it to the red zone once and ended the game by throwing a pitiful interception into double coverage. Even with all his weapons, Manning is hit-or-miss. Without them, he can barely function. Manning gets a glorious matchup against Oakland in Week 13, though his streaming appeal hinges on Shepard's availability.
