Dodgers recalled OF Chris Heisey from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Heisey was just sent down over the weekend, but he's back now that Scott Van Slyke is headed to the disabled list. The 30-year-old is 1-for-9 (.111) with five walks over five games with the Dodgers this season. He's starting in right field for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Rockies.
Jun 2 - 12:11 PM

Andre Ethier is out of the Dodgers' lineup for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Rockies.

The hot-hitting Ethier will take a seat with left-hander Jorge De La Rosa on the hill for the Rockies. The newly-recalled Chris Heisey will start in right field while Alex Guerrero plays left. Ethier should play in Game 2 of the doubleheader.
Jun 2 - 12:08 PM

Jimmy Rollins is not in the Dodgers' starting lineup in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Rockies.

Enrique Hernandez will get the start at shortstop. Rollins figures to play in the second game.
Jun 2 - 12:05 PM

Yasmani Grandal is sitting for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Rockies.

Austin Barnes will start behind the plate and catch Juan Nicasio. Look for Grandal to start the second game.
Jun 2 - 12:03 PM

Troy Tulowitzki is out of the starting lineup for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Dodgers.

Daniel Descalso will start at shortstop. Look for Tulo to play in the nightcap.
Jun 2 - 12:00 PM

Rays recalled OF Mikie Mahtook from Triple-A Durham.

He'll replace Ernesto Frieri on the active roster. Mahtook had a brief stint with the Rays in April and was batting .242/.292/.357 with two home runs, 19 RBI, and four stolen bases over 39 games this season in Triple-A. He'll serve as a right-handed bat off the bench.
Jun 2 - 11:41 AM

Edwin Encarnacion is not in the starting lineup for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Nationals.

In other words, the Blue Jays are going with the same lineup they planned to use on Monday, with Justin Smoak making the start at first base. Encarnacion is likely to be in the lineup for Game 2.
Jun 2 - 11:18 AM

Jose Bautista (shoulder) will start in right field for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Nationals.

Bautista was slated to play right field Monday before the game was postponed due to rain. He has been limited to DH duties since April 21 due to right shoulder inflammation, but has felt some improvement since a cortisone shot last week. We still wouldn't count on seeing him in right field on an everyday basis, but this is a good sign for the Blue Jays.
