White Sox prospect Carlos Sanchez has gone 9-for-9 over his last two games for Triple-A Charlotte.

Saturday's outing included two homers and seven RBI. Sanchez has hit safely in 17 of 19 games this season and reached base in all but one. Sanchez still swings and misses too much (20 Ks in 86 at-bats this year), but other than that, it's hard to find fault with anything he's accomplished this season. If Sanchez keeps this up, it's going to be hard for the White Sox to keep him in Triple-A.

Johnny Cueto fell to 2-3 on the season after yielding five runs in six innings to the Braves on Sunday.

The Braves jumped on Cueto early, scoring three times: once on a Freddie Freeman double and twice on a Kelly Johnson home run. Jonny Gomes swatted a solo home run in the third, and Cameron Maybin tacked on the Braves' fifth run with a single in the sixth. Cueto, overall, gave up nine hits and a walk while striking out only two. The right-hander has otherwise been terrific this season and still carries a 2.72 ERA with a 0.86 WHIP and a 40/6 K/BB ratio in 43 innings. He will try to redeem himself when he travels to Chicago to take on the White Sox in his next outing.

Julio Teheran got the win on Sunday after shutting out the Reds over six innings of work.

And with that, Teheran notched his first terrific outing since his Opening Day start back on April 6. It's been a tough start to the season for Teheran, who limited the Reds to three hits and a pair of walks while striking out six. The right-hander lowered his ERA to 3.82, and carries a 1.42 WHIP with a 28/14 K/BB ratio in 33 innings. Teheran will look to keep it going in his next start on the road against the Nationals.

Ben Revere went 3-for-5 with an RBI single and a run scored to help the Phillies top the Marlins 6-2 on Sunday.

Revere briefly tied the game at 1-1 in the top of the fifth inning with an RBI single to left-center. It marked only the third multi-hit game of the season for the outfielder, who challenged for the National League batting title last year with a .306 average. The light-hitting Phillies are hoping to get Revere going at the top of the lineup, as he's hitting just .239/.286/.326 on the season.

Ichiro Suzuki swiped a pair of bases in a 1-for-3 effort at the plate as the Marlins fell to the Phillies on Sunday.

Suzuki set up the Marlins' first run in the first inning when he drew a leadoff walk, then stole second and third base, and scored on Giancarlo Stanton's sacrifice fly. The pair of stolen bases marked the first two of the season for the veteran, who is also batting .269/.324/.343 with 10 runs scored.

Mets prospect Noah Syndergaard matched a career-high with ten strikeouts Saturday for Triple-A Las Vegas.

Syndergaard hasn't allowed a run in his last 14 innings pitched, fanning 19 hitters over that span. The 22-year-continues to throw strikes. He's only handed out two free passes in his last two starts. Syndergaard doesn't have a whole lot left to prove in Triple-A. If one of New York's starters gets injured, the Mets know who to call.

Chase Utley's struggles at the plate continued, finishing 0-for-5 with a pair of strikeouts in Sunday's win over the Marlins.

It's been a season-long slump for the six-time All-Star, as he entered Sunday's game with a .422 OPS. He came to the plate with runners on base four times against the Marlins and failed to produce in each opportunity. The 36-year-old's durability issues are well known, but his poor start to the season still comes as a surprise. Utley owns a meager .108/.181/.217 triple-slash line with three home runs and 14 RBI.

Jarred Cosart picked up a loss on Sunday versus the Phillies after allowing three runs in five-plus innings.

Cosart dominated his former team back on April 22 but the Phillies had him better figured out on Sunday, particularly towards the end of his start. After Cosart hit Darin Ruf with a pitch to start the sixth inning, Ryan Howard tripled and Grady Sizemore singled to bring in two runs to put the Phillies up 3-1 and end Cosart's night. Overall, the right-hander gave up five hits and walked one while striking out six. His numbers on the season are still quite good, sporting a 2.97 ERA, a 0.96 WHIP, and an 18/8 K/BB ratio in 30 1/3 innings. Cosart will look to get back in the win column in a road start versus the Giants next.
