Coach John Harbaugh said RB Raheem Mostert could see more reps on offense moving forward.
Mostert tore up the preseason with the Eagles, totaling 361 yards on 53 touches. He didn't make the final roster and spent time with the Dolphins earlier this season before being claimed off waivers by Baltimore last month. Mostert (5'10/195) is small, but has off-the-chart measurables and athleticism.
Ravens activated DE Brent Urban (biceps) from injured reserve-designated for return.
Urban tore his biceps in early-August and has yet to play a snap this season after missing his entire rookie year with a torn ACL. The second-year pro will slide in as a rotational lineman if he's active on game day.
Larry Donnell (neck) is not practicing Wednesday.
Donnell said he's been cleared to play and feels 100 percent. The Giants obviously feel differently. Either way, if he plays, Donnell isn't fantasy-relevant.
Ty Montgomery (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 12 against the Bears.
Randall Cobb, James Jones, and Davante Adams will continue to handle three-wide duties, with Jeff Janis mixing in as the No. 4 receiver. Whenever Montgomery returns, he could push Adams and Janis for snaps.
The Steelers failed to activate OT Mike Adams (back) from reserve/PUP, ending his season.
Adams showed up to camp coming off back surgery and never practiced once with the team. The former second-round pick will be a free agent in March.
Bucs WLB Lavonte David has been named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week for Week 11.
David has actually had a really down season after inking a five-year, $50.25 million extension in August. After 11 weeks, David is Pro Football Focus' 32nd-ranked 4-3 outside linebacker out of 33 qualifiers. But on Sunday against the Eagles, David flashed his All-Pro ability, picking off a couple Mark Sanchez passes, returning one for an interception, and playing stout run defense.
Texans LE J.J. Watt has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for Week 11.
It's his first Defensive Player of the Week of the season, though he's been his thoroughly-dominant self all year. Last week against the Jets, Watt piled up eight solo tackles, a pair of sacks, five tackles for loss, and five quarterback hits. He's on his way to being named a unanimous first-team All-Pro again.
Suspended free agent RB Joseph Randle was arrested at a Kansas casino Tuesday night.
He's facing several charges, including felony criminal threats, misdemeanor assault of a law enforcement officer, battery, and disorderly conduct. Randle was reportedly told to leave the casino because he was too drunk. On the way out, he spit on the floor and "went berserk" on the cops. Randle has a history of legal troubles and is still in custody on $25,000 bail.
