Devin Hester caught just one pass for 25 yards in Atlanta's Week 3 demolition of the Bucs, but added a 20-yard rushing touchdown and punt-return score.

Sep 18 - 11:17 PM

With the Falcons winning 49-0, Matt Ryan departed Atlanta's Week 3 game against the Bucs midway through the third quarter after completing 21-of-24 passes for 286 yards and three touchdowns.

Ryan simply did whatever he wanted against a defense that looked like it had no clue what was going on, ripping apart zone cushions from the opening whistle. Ryan found superstar Julio Jones for nine catches, 161 yards and two touchdowns. Ryan has now bookended his terrible Week 2 road start with two dominating efforts at home. He heads on the road again in Week 4, with the Falcons traveling to Minnesota. Ryan is locked in as a high-end QB1.
Sep 18 - 10:57 PM

Harry Douglas was forced from the Falcons' Week 3 game against the Bucs with a left foot injury.

Douglas is technically questionable to return, but it did not look good when he went down. He tried to make it to the sideline before collapsing on the field. He could barely put any weight on his left foot as he headed to the locker room. Even if the injury isn't serious, he won't be returning to a blowout. Douglas was having a nice night in Roddy White's absence before going down, catching 2-of-2 targets for 14 yards and a touchdown.
Sep 18 - 9:51 PM

Josh McCown was forced from the Bucs' Week 3 game against the Falcons with a right (throwing) thumb injury, and will not return.

Mike Glennon is now in the game at quarterback. McCown smashed his hand on CB Robert McClain's facemask on a follow through, but initially stayed in the game. He departed in the waning minutes of the second quarter, however. McCown was abysmal before heading to the locker room, completing just 5-of-12 passes for 58 yards, zero touchdowns and an interception. His pick came on a pass that took an eternity to develop, and should have never been thrown. McCown may have gotten benched even if he hadn't gotten hurt. Depending on how Glennon looks in relief, the Bucs could already have a controversy on their hands. McCown boasts a 2:4 TD:INT ratio through two and a half games.

Mike Tolbert (chest) returned to Panthers practice Thursday, getting in a limited session.

It puts Tolbert on track to operate as a Week 3 battering ram, though how he feels on Friday will be key. With DeAngelo Williams (thigh) trending toward a return, as well, Tolbert's status is less important than it was in Week 2.
Sep 18 - 7:57 PM

Colin Kaepernick was added to the 49ers' injury report on Thursday with a back issue, but practiced in full.

It's not a concern for Kaepernick's Sunday status. Coming off a disappointing start against the Bears, he's Rotoworld's No. 14 quarterback for Week 3.
Sep 18 - 7:42 PM

Shaun Hill (thigh) remained limited in Thursday's practice.

He did a "little more," however. Speaking afterward, Rams coach Jeff Fisher said his Week 3 quarterback decision between Hill and Austin Davis could come down to a game-time decision, but we'd ultimately be very surprised if Davis didn't get the call. He was effective in Week 2, and the Rams likely want to see if he can run with the starting job.
Sep 18 - 7:40 PM

Andre Ellington (foot) returned to Cardinals practice Thursday, getting in a limited session.

Barring a setback, Ellington will start Sunday's game against the 49ers. With Jonathan Dwyer now out of the picture, Ellington could even get some goal-line looks, but Stepfan Taylor will be first in line. Sporting a 5.1 YPC to go along with his 181 yards from scrimmage, Ellington is a strong RB2.
