Jose Reyes went 1-for-5 and picked up his first RBI of the season as he returned to the lineup for Saturday's victory over the Indians.

The oft-injured shortstop lined a single to center field off Corey Kluber in the second inning, scoring Brett Lawrie and increasing the Jays advantage to 3-0. With the hamstring issue hopefully behind him, it's safe to reinsert Reyes into all fantasy lineups.

Mark Buehrle continued his early season dominance, hurling seven shutout innings to defeat the Indians on Saturday afternoon.

Buehrle surrendered just four hits and three walks while striking out three. The 35-year-old southpaw is now a perfect 4-0 on the season with a stellar 0.64 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 19/5 K/BB ratio through his first 28 innings. He certainly won’t continue at this pace, and may not even prove to be mixed league relevant the remainder of the season, but he should continue to be started until he comes back to earth. He’ll look for his fifth victory when he takes on the Royals in Kansas City on Thursday.

Mike Aviles went 1-for-2 and also walked in Saturday's loss to the Blue Jays.

On an afternoon where the Tribe mustered just four total singles against Mark Buehrle and company, Aviles was one of the standout offensive performers. He's seeing quite a bit of action as a super utility player, slashing .270/.317/.378 in 37 at-bats on the season.
Apr 19 - 3:57 PM

Nick Swisher went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts in Saturday's loss to the Blue Jays.

Swisher's offensive woes continue, as he's now slashing a mere .174/.269/.275 on the season. While he's likely to break out of his funk and come around eventually, fantasy owners may want to sit him down until he starts showing signs of life.
Apr 19 - 3:54 PM

Corey Kluber was hit hard in Saturday’s loss to the Blue Jays, surrendering four runs on nine hits over 6 2/3 innings of work.

Kluber walked three and struck out three on the afternoon. A defensive miscue by Nick Swisher that wasn’t ruled an error played a role in the two-run first inning, and was a hole that the Indians could never dig out of. Kluber will now look to improve upon an unsightly 5.40 ERA and 1.71 WHIP when he takes on the Royals at home on Thursday.

Delino DeShields will miss several weeks with a broken cheekbone.

The injury is officially a "non-displaced maxillary sinus fracture" in the left cheek, and DeShields is lucky that the injury was not more severe given its location.

Pirates designated 1B Travis Ishikawa for assignment.

With Friday's acquisition of Ike Davis, Ishikawa became expendable for the Pirates. In a platoon role, he hit .206/.263/.382 with a homer and three RBI in 34 at-bats. With his power potential, he could generate interest from other teams, but may have to work things out at Triple-A before getting another shot in the big leagues.
Apr 19 - 3:26 PM

Ike Davis is in the lineup and batting sixth for his Pirates debut on Saturday.

Davis, who was acquired from the Mets on Friday, is expected to provide much needed power and run production in the middle of the Pirates lineup. If he's available in any fantasy leagues, he's certainly worth the gamble now that his outlook for everyday at-bats has improved.
