Dolphins LT Branden Albert (knee) could miss the first two weeks of the regular season.

Albert returned to practice this week, but his status is in doubt for the opener. He could remain sidelined until Week 3 against Buffalo. The Dolphins may be forced to start Dallas Thomas on Ryan Tannehill's blindside in place of Albert.

ESPN's Adam Caplan reports Dolphins LT Branden Albert (knee) is unlikely to return before Week 3.

It's a big blow for the Dolphins' shaky offensive line, and means fill-in Jason Fox will make at least two starts on Ryan Tannehill's blindside. Fox is missing Saturday's regular season dress rehearsal, leaving Tannehill to fend for himself behind his third string left tackle, Dallas Thomas. Albert is still barely 10 months removed from tearing up his knee. Week 3 shouldn't be considered a certainty.

Martavis Bryant caught three passes for 138 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason game.

The Steelers rested their starters after one series, but Bryant played most of the first half. All of his production came against Buffalo's first-team defense. Bryant burned Bills rookie CB Ronald Darby for a 63-yard catch, and drew two pass interference calls. His touchdown was a 39-yard deep post over the middle of the field. Bryant will miss the first four games to suspension and is behind Markus Wheaton is two-wide sets, but has a high ceiling as a buy-low WR3.

Charcandrick West suffered a concussion in Kansas City's third preseason game.

West is in the concussion protocol. His roster spot shouldn't be in danger despite the injury. West has just over two weeks to get cleared.

Marquise Goodwin suffered a rib injury in Saturday's preseason game.

The extent of the injury isn't yet known. Goodwin had three catches for 48 yards prior to going down. Losing Goodwin would be another blow to an offense that's overloaded injuries.

Matt Cassel completed 6-of-7 passes for 38 yards in Buffalo's third preseason game.

E.J. Manuel started, with Cassel the No. 2 quarterback through the rotation. Cassel nearly threw a pick-six on a tipped pass at the line of scrimmage, but managed to avoid making any other mistakes. The Bills can't be overly impressed with what the saw from Cassel. Cassel is 13-of-15 for 83 yards in two preseason appearances.

Antonio Brown was held without a catch in Saturday's preseason game.

The Steelers only played Brown for one series. He'll likely be rested for the preseason finale. Brown should be drafted as a top-three wideout.

DeAngelo Williams had three carries for 15 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason game.

With Le'Veon Bell suspended the first two weeks, Williams started the regular-season dress rehearsal. He went untouched into the end-zone on his one-yard touchdown, and also scored on a two-point conversion. Williams has short-term RB3 value, but will be a strict backup when Bell returns.
