Vernon Davis managed one catch for nine yards in the 49ers' Week 17 win over the Cardinals.

A monumental disappointment in both fantasy and real life this season, Davis managed a 2014 receiving line of 26-245-2 while falling off precipitously as a blocker. When Davis doesn't even have his blocking to fall back on, it's fair to question his value to an NFL team. We'd hate to be Dynasty league owners of Davis, who turns 31 in January. It's entirely possible Davis' time as a fantasy asset is over.

Stedman Bailey caught 1-of-2 targets for 17 yards in the Rams' Week 17 loss to the Seahawks.

Bailey ends his sophomore season with a 30-435-1 line. Bailey was a preseason and training camp star for the Rams but earned a four-game suspension to open the season, putting him behind the eight ball when he was eligible to return in Week 6. It took Bailey a few weeks to get his feet wet again, but once Brian Quick went down with a season-ending shoulder injury midway through the year, it was Bailey and Kenny Britt on the outside for the Rams. Bailey isn’t very big, but has a good pair of hands. He’ll be a nice complementary piece for the Rams, but is best suited for a slot role as a No. 3 receiver.

Joique Bell rushed 13 times for 60 yards in the Lions' Week 17 loss to the Packers.

Dec 28 - 8:04 PM

Kenny Britt caught 4-of-5 targets for 38 yards in the Rams' Week 17 loss to the Seahawks.

Britt ends the season with a career-high 48 catches for 748 yards and three touchdowns. Reunited with coach Jeff Fisher, Britt got his career back on track on a one-year deal in St. Louis despite shoddy quarterback play. He is the Rams’ first 700-yard receiver since Torry Holt in 2008. That’s how bad it’s been for the Rams recently. Britt is still just 26 and headed for free agency, but he’s unlikely to see many multi-year offers because of his troubled past. He’d be smart to stay in St. Louis with Fisher where the Rams would likely like to keep him around as a mentor for Brian Quick and any other young receivers they choose to bring in. Britt has earned a starting job for 2015.

Brandon Lloyd caught one pass for 14 yards in the 49ers' Week 17 win over the Cardinals.

Lloyd finished his return season to the 49ers with 14 receptions for 294 yards and one touchdown. He primarily served in a situational perimeter receiver role behind Michael Crabtree, Anquan Boldin, and Stevie Johnson. Lloyd, 33, may be done as an NFL player. He is ticketed for offseason free agency.

Derek Carr completed 18-of-36 passes for 158 yards with one touchdown and one interception in Sunday's Week 17 loss at Denver.

In an impossible spot against a motivated Broncos team with an elite defense, Carr had no shot. But he was the NFL's best rookie quarterback for stretches this season, showing an ability to read defenses and make throws even with zero talent around him. He started all 16 games, completing 58.0 percent of his passes with 21 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Carr may not be handed the 2015 starting job by a new Raiders regime, but he'll likely win it.
Dec 28 - 7:59 PM

Michael Crabtree secured 4-of-4 targets for 41 yards in the 49ers' Week 17 win over the Cardinals.

Crabtree's 2014 campaign was a huge disappointment, ending with a 68-698-4 receiving line. He tore his Achilles' in the 2013 offseason and has seemingly never regained his old explosion. For the most part, Crabtree has been an inconsistent possession receiver in the pros, and he dropped way more passes than usual this year. It's fair to wonder if his career is now headed in a Hakeem Nicksian direction. An impending free agent, Crabtree won't be back with the Niners and may have to settle for a short-term deal elsewhere. Crabtree turned 27 this past September and seemingly has an arrow pointing down.

Zac Stacy - RB - Rams

Zac Stacy rushed two times for three yards and caught three passes for 17 yards in the Rams' Week 17 loss to the Seahawks.

Stacy caps off an extremely disappointing sophomore season with 293 yards and one touchdown on 76 carries (3.85 YPC) to go along with an 18-152 receiving line. Coming off a solid rookie season, Stacy entered 2014 as the starter but wheezed his way to just 228 yards and one touchdown on 53 carries the first five weeks of the season. After Week 6, Stacy played just 31 snaps excluding Week 17. It’s Tre Mason’s backfield now in St. Louis, though the Rams say they still like Stacy. Signed cheaply through 2016, Stacy should be back with the Rams next summer, but he’ll have to compete for a roster spot.
