Broncos coach John Fox conceded Julius Thomas (questionable, ankle) was unable to do much on the practice field Friday.

Although Thomas is listed as questionable, he's shaping up as a not-great bet to play versus Miami. "We could have called him limited, but it was closer to DNP," were Fox's words. Officially, Thomas is a game-time decision. We don't expect to have a great idea of his status until just before Sunday's game.

Bengals coach Marvin Lewis believes WLB Vontaze Burfict (knee scope) is "progressing" toward a return.

Naturally, Lewis didn't disclose when Burfict might actually suit up. Sunday's tilt with the Texans will mark the fourth straight game he's missed. Going by his timetable, there's a chance Burfict will be ready for Week 13, but that should not be taken for granted.

Speaking after Friday's practice, Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said TE Tyler Eifert (elbow, injured reserve/designated for return) is "progressing" toward returning this season.

Lewis, however, was vague on when exactly Eifert might be back. He doesn't appear particularly likely to suit up in Week 13. Despite the down year at tight end, Eifert is not worth stashing in 12-14 team re-draft leagues.

ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss reports Jonas Gray was not permitted to practice on Friday because he showed up late to the Patriots' facility.

Uh oh. The Patriots are a zero-tolerance team when it comes to matters like this, and for as great as Gray was in fantasy football last week, he is a replaceable player. That is especially the case after New England signed LeGarrette Blount to a two-year deal on Thursday. Gray's usage for Week 12 against the Lions is now entirely uncertain. Blount could steal his role.

Julius Thomas (ankle, questionable) is expected to be a game-day decision in Week 12.

Thomas "appeared a limited participant" in Friday's practice. "If I can go, I will go," Thomas said Thursday. Our guess at this stage of the week is that Orange Julius will be held out, but that's pure speculation. Ultimately, the Broncos are unlikely to decide on Thomas' availability until a few hours before kickoff. Broncos-Dolphins has 4:25PM ET start, creating a trick situation in fantasy football. Thomas owners would be smart to grab Jacob Tamme.

According to the Denver Post, "all signs point toward" Emmanuel Sanders playing Sunday versus Miami.

He's officially listed as probable. Sanders returned to practice Friday and has cleared all of the necessary hurdles the NFL has designed for players coming off concussions. Cody Latimer and Andre Caldwell can be safely dropped if they were added as speculative stashes in fantasy leagues. The status of Julius Thomas (ankle) is expected to come down to a game-time decision. Sanders could get more targets if Thomas doesn't play.

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer expects Greg Jennings (rib) to play in Week 12 against the Packers.

Jennings missed Wednesday and Thursday's practices, but returned on Friday. It's a blow to Charles Johnson truthers, who surely would have loved to have twirled Johnson in daily leagues. Jennings should start against his own team.

Gio Bernard (hip) is listed as probable for Week 12.

He practiced in full on both Thursday and Friday. Bernard's workload is unclear after he missed a month with hip and collarbone injuries. Jeremy Hill excelled in Gio's absence, averaging 5.73 YPC over the Bengals' last three games.
