Memphis QB Paxton Lynch will throw at the Combine.

Lynch is the second of the three projected first-rounders to commit after Jared Goff made his decision earlier this week. Both players weren’t eligible for the Senior Bowl, but should improve their stock at the Combine. Lynch is competing with Goff and Carson Wentz to be this year's top quarterback.

A league personnel executive told NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein he doesn’t view North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz as a first-round pick.

"That North Dakota State kid is way overrated," the source said. A second executive said there’s "no way" he would draft Wentz in the first round after watching Senior Bowl practices. Wentz is polarizing due to his small-school background, but projects as a potential top-five pick. The Browns have interest in Wentz at No. 2 overall.

Colts DE Henry Anderson (knee) isn't expected to be ready for Week 1.

Anderson is three months removed from ACL surgery. He'll miss the entire offseason and is questionable for training camp. Anderson could open 2016 on PUP if he has setbacks.

In-house reporter Kevin Bowen expects the Colts to upgrade on NT David Parry.

Parry started all 16 games as a rookie, but graded as one of the worst defensive tackles in the league. His struggles were a large part of Indy’s bottom-ten run defense. The Colts should bring in heavy 2016 competition for Parry.

Charlie Sly, the main source of the Al Jazeera documentary which alleges Peyton Manning used HGH, does not believe the investigators the Manning camp sent to his parents' house were intended to intimidate him into cooperation.

The Washington Post reported Manning's lawyers sent investigators to the house prior to the documentary airing. The men allegedly worried Sly's sister enough for her to call police, but Sly had nothing but good things to say about the investigators. "Those guys were great guys," Sly said. "Like, very good guys. Very professional." The NFL is investigating the allegations against Manning and the other NFL players implicated in the documentary. Sly recanted his allegations before the documentary aired.

Giants co-owner John Mara said he plans to talk with Tom Coughlin about a position with the organization.

"He’s been away, but I do plan on talking," Mara said. "There’s still hope." Coughlin interviewed with the Eagles and 49ers after "resigning" from the Giants following the season. Coughlin reportedly could have landed the Eagles' job, but the majority of his staff is still under contract in New York. It is unclear if Coughlin would welcome a front office job with the team which basically forced him out of coaching a month ago.

Titans president and CEO Steve Underwood said the organization is making progress towards satisfying the league's ownership requirements.

"We are confident that the next time we meet with the Commissioner," Underwood said, "he will be satisfied that [owner] Amy Adams Strunk has exactly what he said she needs — local operating control and full authority to represent the Titans in league decisions." The league requires one majority owner to represent the team both locally and in league matters. Strunk owns just a third of the organization with the rest of the shares spread out between the late Bud Adams' other daughter, Susie Adams Smith, and the heirs of his late son, Kenneth Adams III. Strunk has been operating as the controlling owner, but the league likely wants her to acquire a majority stake. Underwood's comments suggest she is close to acquiring the necessary shares.

ESPN Redskins reporter John Keim believes Washington wants SS Dashon Goldson back if they can lower his cap number.

Goldson was one of the worst safeties in the league last season and is owed $8 million in salary and bonuses. The Redskins can save all of that against the cap by releasing him. Goldson theoretically brings veteran leadership to the secondary, but Washington desperately needs to upgrade the back-end of their defense. Goldson should not be starting Week 1.
