Aaron Judge slugged a grand slam off Triggs in the bottom of the third inning that was preceded by a Matt Joyce fielding error. Triggs gave up six total hits and walked one while striking out three. He'll carry a cool 5-4 record and 2.64 ERA into his next start at home versus the Nationals.

Mike Trout was forced to leaves Sunday's game against the Marlins with a left thumb sprain.

He went for precautionary X-rays which ruled out any fractures. The Angels have yet to comment on how much time, if any, he'll miss due to the injury, but it doesn't sound like it should keep him down for long.

Adam Warren got the final four outs Sunday against the Athletics to earn his first save.

Dellin Betances was used for a five-out save on Saturday, so the Yankees let Warren finish out this one. The right-hander didn't allow a hit and lowered his season ERA to 2.73. Warren also has a shiny 0.84 WHIP.

He got through all nine innings on 111 pitches, 79 of which went for strikes. The right-hander dropped his season ERA from 6.70 to 5.79.

Jason Kipnis finished 4-for-4 with a walk, a home run, and two RBI in the Rangers' blowout victory over the Royals on Sunday.

Kipnis also doubled and scored two runs in the game. The second baseman still owns a weak .242 batting average and .274 on-base percentage in 128 total at-bats this season, but those numbers have been on the rise. He hit leadoff again on Sunday.

Alcides Escobar finished 0-for-4 in the Royals' loss to the Indians on Sunday.

Escobar is now batting just .172/.201/.226 in 49 games this season, and yet he again batted leadoff for manager Ned Yost on Sunday. The speedy shortstop has also yet to steal a base in 2017.

Danny Duffy was blasted for six earned runs over just four innings Sunday in the Royals' blowout loss to the Indians.

Duffy yielded nine hits and walked three batters in the ugly outing at Progressive Field against the defending American League champions. He fell to 4-4 on the season but still holds a decent 3.54 ERA even after Sunday's drubbing. Duffy will try to get back on track in his next start, a rematch against the Tribe at Kauffman Stadium.
